@Charlotte I hope you update this for 1.6 when it drops, this is a terrific mod! I hate steadily losing weapons and armor.

Please keep a 1.4 version. If you update to 1.5, that's fine, but I'd like to keep playing on at most 1.4.

@Batman Add a bill to the workbench to repair that item. If their work priorities are set up properly, then they will repair it, or you can select them, and right click the bench to tell them to repair.

Make sure if you have "Vanilla Factions Expanded - Ancients" that you're using the _correct_ mending workbench as that mod adds another one which is electric or fueled. This one adds a simple mending workbench.

It also lets you deconstruct tainted items in exchange for raw materials to make whatever, as the raw materials themselves aren't tainted.

There is an option in the settings to have it remove tainted if you want to use it.

Honestly I use this more for the recycle part than the mend part. I practically check this daily to see if its updated. Even Rimfactory hasnt got it working yet. Guess they really changed things around.

Update: Error was on my end, in a patch I made incorrectly. Disregard my previous report.

Reporting the same as a few others have over the years, recycling clothing just destroys the clothes without creating any cloth. I'm still on 1.4. My modlist won't fit within the character limit here on Steam, but I suspect, based on searching for other reports of the same problem, that the cause may be Medieval Overhaul. It comes up a lot, and it changes a bunch of recipes to shift the tech tree. I'm also looking at an .xml in their files labeled "Remove_Recipes," which seems as though it removes any recipe with a blank output, and that may be related?

@inner|query They do bills from top to bottom, so just put the repair bill first, and make sure that the person who makes pants can also repair them.

Is it possible to enforce mending before creating new items? For instance, mend pants before tailoring a new one?

They've partially updated it already if you check github.

...oh, and there's the Mend Psycast from Vanilla Psycasts Expanded.

@AldmeriExile Change Dresser has a researchable mending attachment which will slowly, one pieces of clothing at a time, repair.

There's also an Armor Racks mod which has a high-end rack which repairs your items (I think weapons too) when stashed on the rack.
