Nice one. Having seen it done and used it myself, it wasn't too hard to spot. Thanks.

Great ^^ !
Remind me a chamber from Jotta. Take a look on his workshop if you haven't already done so.

Btw, funny collection, well done !

@Tkatch:

Your humble servant Bensenhaver has created, with the permanent support of Mothalius, his first test chamber, "Underdog". It would be an honor for me if you were so kind as to test it. In case you were inclined to do so, a link like this

http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=100557420

would become really handy (In case you'd rather clip your toenails, maybe you should know that Cave Prime is paying 60 dollars for testing the chamber).

ANY kind of feedback will be welcome. Thank you very much in advance for your time and attention.

Yours truthfully;

Bensenhaver.

thumbs up.
please try 1 I made with a use of alternating tractor beam,
I have not seen before (maybe you have ?) in chamber with safety sphere.

alternating polarity tractor beam is esential to getting the sphere.

Cool timer system ;) Already found it in another map anyway ^^"

If you are interested, I did the Map Creator Tools collection to rassemble all the demo maps showing how to make timers, logic gates and other things like that with the PeTI editor ;)

I feel like you are using the same trick in all these chambers: leave something looping and go to the exit. Some chambers do it well, others do not. This one does it well, but light bridges would have been more enjoyable here. Diversion is the one that does it better, but it was annoying to keep the cubes from destroying each other there. The first map was the most fun from this collection, because the loop was easy to create, it felt natural (not forced), and the stairs were fun to climb.

Nice, but too easy to be the last one in this series. I'd recommend having the one with the lightbridges as the last one (was it called Viversion?). I also don't really like the floating cubes, it wouldn't hurt if they were attached to the wall behnd them imho.

Well, if the puzzle requires you to figure out timing thats ok too in my book. But in this case I agree, laser fields at the end only serve to punish people who mess up slightly after they have already solved the chamber.

Also Tkatch, I greatly encourage you to play this map a friend of mine made: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72850866

It uses some awesome mechanics I have seen very few people catch onto. Should help give some ideas for future mind bends :)

I found the solution of grid first on a custom map before PTI with a hexagonal room. You had to adjust the cube perfectly between ceiling and floor to hit 6 receptacles, not only 2 I still like the solution to this level, but I still don't like the floating boxes (see comment below).

I get that you got tired of light bridges, but I just think, that portal is not about timing, more about thinking.

Yes it's displaying the wrong preview image but is anyone surprised? Steam has been acting weird with respect to PTI in general, probably because they're still working on it.

Is it really that hard to time it properly 4 times? There are alternate solutions with just 2 laser grids and I've already used light bridges for this purpose to death.

I thought the solution was awesome because I thought I discovered it (and it was 5 am so I was in a weird state). Disappointing to find, just like with Grid, that that's not the case.

Is it just me, or is this level displaying the wrong preview?

Generally, I dislike floating walls and such within portal. Aperture MAY have the technology, but you don't see any technology applied, so it looks a little off.

Please take away two of the laser grids, or replace them with light barriers. It is not so much fun, if your success, once you figured out the awesome solution, depends merely on timing.

Well, "absoultely awesome" is a bit much, but it is fairly cool.

I've seen much more complicated "bounce laser cube(s) in funnel(s)" puzzles than this.
