If it works anything like the normal admin crew spawning systems, it shouldn't break -- are you running other mods?

I noticed on NPC spawner that there's a 'Disable Worn Armor' input.................
just saying, but the NPC spawner crashes upon making crew members

Felt really, really bad when an outlaw that dealt 180+ dmg to me got their rocket launcher switched for 3 dmg pea-shooter when I recuited them.
Hopefully that mod will help!

Should not be used with Earth's Finest for anyone who have FU ! FU is not compatible with Earth's Finest.

So I don't think anything significant has changed and would be surprised if the mod broke.

Are you running any other mods (besides mine) that tweak or overhaul crewmembers?


Basically, my mods need to load last, as they're patches and should be cross compatible with everything. If my mods load first, they'll get overwritten and something like "Earth's Finest" or whatever will put in its own weaker crewmembers.


The only way I'm aware to resolve this issue is to unsub from this mod, start the game, close it, resub, start the game, and then it should be fixed.

yeah.. my crew are also dying left and right with this mod, and they also cause a whopping 1 or 2 damage to monsters.

Yeah, thanks for that. It doesn't help that Chuckle set their game up to be mod-friendly though each update still tends to kill the mods...

I'm having NPCs die left and right on me. It must be due to the new update/patch released for Starbound.

Can you make sure this mod isn't the cause for it? In the changelog they said they moddified how mods link into the actual game, so I'm a bit worried what may be the cause...

I apologize folks, I didn't realize there was an update -- haven't been keeping up with starbound. Please let me know if there's any issues associated with the mod.

It's possible some mods are getting loaded after mine, clobbering the changes. Please ensure this mod is the last to load by unsubscribing, booting the game, then resubscribing.

gank is correct. if the person hosting has the mods, the players joining will also have moded effects HOWEVER, some mods will crash incoming users if they do not also have the mod on their client,this usually occours with mods adding entirely new items, that require something to tell the client that an item is there, without pulling an error.

I've used it on multiplayer, and, while I'm not 100% clear on how exactly the client/server relationship goes, my best understanding is that if the server has this mod installed, it'll apply to all the players on that server.


I could be wrong, so your best bet, as always, is to make sure everyone has the same mods installed as the server.

I want my crew members tougher by uesing my weapons but I found no mod could do that. Luckily I got this. Close enough anyway. :)

For some reason, I didn't notice that you mentioned that the AI didn't get tweaked.

Got rekt cause the dim-witted companions were getting mowed by three mobs since they delay too much before retaliating. *which is why I go alone cause I usually do too much babysitting if I have tag-alongs*

...what would it take to tweek the AI responce time anyways? If it's number-based code, it should be an easy patch...

As for an explanation of WHY earth's finest is compatible with this mod, Earth's finest works by outright replacing the default crew files, while this one patches them. Patches are applied after replacements.

its compatible with earths finest as i found out in my personal modpack all benifits from both mods are there. and as for frackin races i so far i have not been able to test if my glitch engineers are immune to poison (this would be easiest to test with) as i havent encountered such but i will say i believe it is compatible as my game has had no problems running all 3 of these mods plus many others in my pack.
