Yeah, it was stuck on the two orbital tracks when I looked with Music Manager. I forced it through them to the next one and now it seems to be playing how it should be. Time will tell if it goes back to being stuck, but theres a workaround now at least.

Yeah, I've got my big space station colony and then one I'm building currently down on the planet. The station is from the mechanoid/gravship mission where you find a part of the ship and I just decided to stay there so that could definitely be it.

I've been looking into the music player style mods, hopefully that might help fix it.

Do you have multiple colonies, one being in Orbit? Seems like you are stuck in the Orbital mode somehow. It is possible to add tracks to the Orbital playlist through modding but I don't know how to disable it.

I've been playing a bit back on the ground, and still all I seem to ever hear (or at least is what is playing when I happen to notice) is the default odyssey track that I think is called "wabi sabi". It just seems like it's on loop wherever I go. I don't think its happening because of this mod, but I would love to be able to hear some other music. Any ideas?

The two new Odyssey DLC tracks will only play in Orbit, nothing else will play. Once you get out of Orbit you will get the normal playlist with tracks from this mod.

I am often in orbit, my main base is on a station I took over. I didn't realize that would be a thing. I am in the process of starting a ground colony though, so I'll pay attention to things while I'm there to see if there is more variety. I dont have anomaly, so it wouldnt be that.

Are you perhaps in Orbit? or in the Anomaly event? Considering you are saying default "couple" of tracks.

I can't seem to get the new music to play, I have a bunch of other mods but nothing that changes music that I know of. I've tried moving this around in the load order list as well as letting RimSort automatically place it and all I ever hear is the default music. Any ideas or tips/tricks I can try? I'm getting real tired of the default couple of tracks all the time and I'd love some more variety.

removing Ambient Rim seems to have fixed the problem, many thanks for the reply, also your music slaps

This has been a common problem for people using Ambient Rim mod, not sure if they fixed it. Are you using that mod?

hey, love the mod, for some reason the music(only the modded music) will sometimes randomly cut out or repeat portions of the song before continuing or just outright stopping. Is this a common/known issue? If it is, what might i do to fix it?

@Peppson I have to tell you I absolutely LOVE the track "On the Road". Such a beautiful haunting melody. Every time it comes on I literally stop my game to focus on it.

Sometimes random is actually better! It can create unique moments that can have huge impact, something that would be ruined by tailoring a specific track for every situation or context. It's not what RimWorld is about either, it's a story generator, it needs randomness.

Hi @Peppsen, do you remember when I asked if the music was context-sensitive due to the sad tunes that play after a breakup?
You said it was, but only in combat situations.

Well, I guess Tynan has changed something.
I've had three breakups now, and the sad tune has played *every* time!
This is beyond sheer luck.
RimWorld *definitely* reacts to sad events!

I was looking through all the playlists on spotify, youtube music and bandcamp trying to find this one phenomenal new track and I just realized it's "Odyssey". All tracks are fantastic but that one is definitely my favorite. Looking forward to the final track. Thank you so much for this mod.

@Cobra Style if you go into the workshop folder in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\725130005\Sounds you can find the raw .ogg audio files which should natively play on most music players. Or you can put it through an mp3 converter.
