someone mentioned this previously, yet i find the irony in actually using these tracks as a playlist at work. it so easy to listen to.

It's rare.
It's subtle.
It's short.

I'm fine with it. ;)

Sometimes random is actually better! It can create unique moments that can have huge impact, something that would be ruined by tailoring a specific track for every situation or context. It's not what RimWorld is about either, it's a story generator, it needs randomness.

Hi @Peppsen, do you remember when I asked if the music was context-sensitive due to the sad tunes that play after a breakup?
You said it was, but only in combat situations.

Well, I guess Tynan has changed something.
I've had three breakups now, and the sad tune has played *every* time!
This is beyond sheer luck.
RimWorld *definitely* reacts to sad events!

Yeah I figured out how to do it but haven't had any requests to add and I don't really play this game enough to just do it for myself.

I also saw you mentioned possibly adding some tracks for being in orbit for the Odyssey DLC. If you do, feel free to copy/pasta any of the code from my mod. I have it setup to play certain songs while in orbit. I was looking through all the playlists on spotify, youtube music and bandcamp trying to find this one phenomenal new track and I just realized it's "Odyssey". All tracks are fantastic but that one is definitely my favorite. Looking forward to the final track. Thank you so much for this mod.

@Cobra Style if you go into the workshop folder in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\725130005\Sounds you can find the raw .ogg audio files which should natively play on most music players. Or you can put it through an mp3 converter.

I have never heard of safes that could be installed inside other safes. I guess better safe than sorry?

Jokes aside, this is a music mod. It is safe to install to save files and remove whenever.

IMO the best Rimworld music mod. Installed and tried them all over the years but this fits Rimworld's world the best. Thank you.

I will upload all the new ones to YouTube Spotify etc. when I complete the set, which should be soon. Only one more track to go. Except I don't use SoundCloud anymore though, too expensive.

Can confirm, I didn't disable AMbient rim just simply turned off the things from mod options and my music immediately stopped skipping.

I've been spending my game time for two days trying to troubleshoot this nonsense- thank you for confirming it is Ambient Rim causing the lovely music to stutter!

Don't blame Peppsen or any of the music authors!

That bug is most likely caused by another mod. This mod doesn't change music behavior at all, it only adds more tracks into a list to be played. Last time people were complaining about such a bug it was caused by the Ambient Rim mod.

I don't really comment on workshop stuff but I just wanna say that this mod is probably my favorite out of all the mods I use. It doesn't add any gameplay but still it changes the entire experience for me. I love the songs, they add so much ambience and epicness to the game. Thank you.

Lone Hunter is so perfect. The sweet, "meowing" guitar, the perfect blend of minor notes, the supportive, but non-distracting background themes keeping it from sounding repetitive. I get excited every time it comes on. <3
