I love the main game - there are so many new things that I found on each play through, especially when you see it from a developer's perspective. And the sound track is really awesome! Enjoy!

I surely will. What i plan is to finish the game first and then play your "unofficial" as following world. For now, i've explored the Workshop a bit because i don't always have much time and finishing 1 isolated level is somehow faster. Also, that all inspires me for creating some levels, if i find the time for it, indeed :D

Thanks so much for the kind words - I am so glad you like the level! :) I love surprises and secret areas and lots of exploration. And I really had fun with the tree! If you like this one, you should play my other levels too.

Incredible amount of work. This level is pushing the game to its limits, in many meanings. I can't imagine the countless hours to build up something so loyal to a real church structure and look ... and on top of that, the level is so fun to play, contains many suprises, final door included (no spoil). My favourite parts were roof and tree climbing, wich adds to the charm of the overall. /kudos

I'm so excited to see your new level Mrs. Ellie! :)

Glad you like it! I'm finally making another level, but it won't be done for a little bit yet. :)

You're welcome! My pleasure! :) Glad you enjoyed the map. I had a great time building it.

Mrs. Ellie-Rolo said you helped him on some of his work on The Tower, and to thank you also. So thank you, too! I really enjoyed the map.

Good suggestions - the placement cubes were for solving the door. I forgot to take them out. I couldn't get the door gameplay to work properly. :(

And by the way numer two, if I were you I´d change the picture you show here in the worshop to show a view from the whole place inside the church towards the altar. So can it be shown properly what the level is all about.

I think you improved it a lot! The only thing I miss is the door in the attic. I think it added a little mistery to the whole place. Now it´s too direct. By the way, what are the yellow cubes under that roof (above two of the wood beams) for?
Mrs Ellie  [author] 12 May, 2016 @ 7:41am
@G.S. - I made some small changes that improve the path, add a little extra gameplay and make the path clearer. Thanks so much for your input - it really helped me to understand that I needed to lead the player better and have a more linear path where ther aren't too many choices of where to go. I hope this helps the gameplay in the big building to be better and less confusing. :)

I think it´s a pretty good level. As you play it, you can see there´s a lot of effort on making it playable. The beginning is very smooth (not easy, but well guided and playable). However, the second part of the level is sometimes confusing. Don´t get me wrong, there´s a great job there, but the fact that you have to rely on edges, dubble jumps, respawns and some hidden-almost-no-way-out-places make the whole thing a bit less smooth. Just a tip: you can create hidden rooms, they´re cool, but don´t make them so large or don´t place them after a very long path because they can make the player´s advance turn into frustration after seeing that all the effort was not worth in terms of reaching the exit.

Anyways, the level is architeturally worth it (staircases, glass, roofs, wood...resting owls...) and that also includes the level design, with some cool hidden features and places.

Good job and good luck!

The lighting is fixed - and the puzzles have been upgraded to be more challenging. Enjoy!

So please fix it.

Great level, loved the architecture and the general look of the level, however in the back of the cathedral the light is way too bright!
gabbadelic 3 May, 2016 @ 1:57pm
Once inside the cathedral, both collapsing doors can be accidently activated by simply looking through the ice windows. Nowhere to go from that point but to restart from the last checkpoint. Pretty much discourages exploration.

Thanks, Limboh - I'll give the game play another editing pass and try to make it more fun. I'll also work on security and sneakiness ... I'm glad I still have a little time left on the clock! I'm glad you enjoyed climbing over the building. :) Thanks so much for the feedback - it's really helpful. I was wondering if the gameplay was up to par, because I suspected it was a little bland. Needs some cayenne pepper! ;)
Limboh 2 May, 2016 @ 9:39am
Absolutely amazing architecture, mostly bland puzzles.

Most puzzles were just "pick up cube, place down at only possible location", which isn't something that should never occur, but it does get kind of stale after playing pretty much every level in the workshop.
Climbing up the first building was very fun though.

Some of the paths to secrets looked like they were mandatory. I personally would prefer it if the secrets were fewer and sneakier.

Here are some skips I found:

The blue cube used to open the church door can be retrieved by leaving through one of the two side rooms. You can grab the cube and just jump onto the front edge of the railing of the side rooms.

And this is possible:

I also constantly had way too many green cubes. The level can be beaten with only one green cube,
the only place where one is mandatory is the tree room.

Otherwise great level, I dig the atmosphere.

@Wassh - I'll fix that shortcut to the roof as soon as I can. I'll post when I get it fixed. Thanks to everyone for finding the shortcuts! I really appreciate the help. :)
Mrs Ellie  [author] 28 Apr, 2016 @ 2:46pm
I just tightened security and eliminated some shortcuts. It is still possible to get into some areas, but not to finish the level early ... I hope. :)
gabbadelic 28 Apr, 2016 @ 10:57am
Great looking level! I also found the portal while exploring the roof. It's possible to hop into the front windows of the cathedral. Not a game breaker; just to let you know. I had a good time searching for all the pyramids!
Mrs Ellie  [author] 28 Apr, 2016 @ 9:47am
Thanks, Wassh! I will fix that. I didn't realize you could get to the roof there. I'm glad you liked the level! I will tighten up security. ;)

Very good gameplay in a nice looking Level, good job!

I found an shortcut:
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=674343241
Go up with the green cube and walk to the end of the Level, finished.
You have to remove the possiblity to jump from the top of the Level into the end.

Moreover you can recollect the blue cube when you have collected the purple cube or you are jumping over the seeling:

I get trapped here :( Can you please lower the exit so I can walk back to collect the blue cube?
