@Unknown_Warrior:

I have a "NO ZEDS" version of my mission here on the workshop. Just use this version & enjoy!
Krakoos 20 Feb, 2018 @ 2:03pm
Can you explain how can I play this without zombies?
I'm using ACE. thx
ROBAX 19 Jul, 2017 @ 2:03am
ok, thanks for the replies.

Regarding the dots:

it's a known problem they only appear in MP, but the actual loot drops/crashsites DO appear in the gameworld - just not on the map. So it's pure surprise and luck to come across one of them ;-)

If, however, Dimitri is dead anyway, then you don't have to go to a hospital in general. As far as I remember, I have not yet used the new MEDEVAC Facility option of AIS in thius mission. If I do that in the nextr update, it might be possible to set it so that anyone who is unconscious and then stabilzed can only be revived at the hospital or at a MEDEVAC vehicle. Combine that with the ability to load injured guys into standard vehicles and you have some mighty fine brothers in arms/leave no man behind gameplay at hand. I have played it SP for testing just with that setup and found it highly rewarding.
tourist  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 11:38am
If yo stick to the sequence 1) Stabilize 2) First Aid 3) Treat you shouldn't have any problems. Note that anyone in "stabilized" state can die if shot at again.
tourist  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 11:37am
Hi ROBAX,

the AIS/A3Wounding script and it's documentation have been updated recently. The older version used in the current build of my mission might react weird if you go to an unconscious person like Dimitri and use the standard BIS "Treat" option on him.
ROBAX 18 Jul, 2017 @ 6:59am
FYI, I streamed what I was doing. Didn't really get anywhere, but you'll see all the probs I had. twitch/robaxx
ROBAX 18 Jul, 2017 @ 5:09am
Also.. what if Dmitri is dead back at Lopatino? He died when I healed him. The doc wants to go to a hospital to operate on him but it's not clear if I'm meant to have Dmitiri with me the whole game or if that's not necessary.
ROBAX 18 Jul, 2017 @ 3:28am
Yep, still playing through and the only markers on the map are the question marks, none of the black dots that were there when I ran it MP. I'll carry on a bit longer. I'm also unsure about the injured guy at teh start. Popov doesnt seem to help him and whenever I heal him, he falls over and dies.
ROBAX 18 Jul, 2017 @ 2:20am
Not sure this is working in SP. I've started up and all those camps and air drops and vehicles that were marked on the map in MP mode are not there. Is that meant to happen?
ROBAX 18 Jul, 2017 @ 1:53am
Thanks for the comments Tourist. I had the same problems with the Esseker missions as well and gave up on those a few days earlier. I've been running them on one computer just using the host server>Lan option. I will definitely try again now using the single player scenario method. I just had so many problems with saving and respawns and being dumped into the ocean and such that it became very frustrating. I'm looking forward to trying it SP now! I'll try the Esseker ones after as welll.
tourist  [author] 17 Jul, 2017 @ 7:41am
BTW, are you running it in LAN with one one instance of the game as dedicated server or just direct hosting?
tourist  [author] 17 Jul, 2017 @ 7:40am
The city was heavily contested by bandit gangs duking it out amongst themselves and Army S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S. kicking their asses indiscriminately as well. Depending on your gaming rig, this specific part of the mission might be a bit tough to handle in SP and therefor be much smoother if you use two instances of A3 in a server/client setup like you described.
tourist  [author] 17 Jul, 2017 @ 7:40am
The RAVAGE MP save will save a human player's position, health and inventory, but not the location of AI teamates and also not the content of an (at the time of saving) unoccupied vehicle. Especially if it is not an editor placed vehicle, but instead a vehicle you aquired by capturing it from bandits or finding it as abandoned wreck & repairing it.

The BIS SP save will save, well, everything at the cost of a potential performance decrease over longer playing times. I had, however, only one significant FPS drop near the end of the mission though when I was fighting my way through the City of Chernogorsk to reach one of the hospitals to find treatment for Dimitri and the other teammembers as well; they were all unconscious :-0

tourist  [author] 17 Jul, 2017 @ 7:38am
Hey ROBAX,

if you play alone anyway, you can run it as a SP mission and use BIS saving. I recently did a complete playthrough of the mission with that method and was able to save for an unlimited amount of times because the RAVAGE savegame module is set to give you unlimited saves in SP regardless of difficulty settings.

So actually for playing alone I'd even suggest this method as preferrable. Also there is one BIG difference to consider between a RAVAGE MP save and a BIS SP save regarding AI buddies and equipment you have stashed in vehicles and boxes:

ROBAX 17 Jul, 2017 @ 6:57am
What's the deal with saving? I'm running this as a lan game to play alone and after a bit I'm no longer able to save. Should I be running it as a single player scenario?
tourist  [author] 17 Dec, 2016 @ 11:34am
And BTW, a guy in BIS Forums pointed out I forgot to name a required mod. Turned out that it is RHS: GREF because of the playable character's gear - so I just updated the requirements and tell it to you directly in order to spare you and the other workshop users any further delay...
SizeDrip 17 Dec, 2016 @ 8:22am
Thanks! I didn't think the issue would be fixed so quickly!
tourist  [author] 17 Dec, 2016 @ 7:18am
@SizeDrip and @all others who got snowblind by playing my mission:

I managed to fix the problem by switching over to another snow script! YAY!!!

Also I made some minor adjustments utilizing the new RAVAGE loot and equipment options.

So go out & enjoy that mission!
tourist  [author] 16 Dec, 2016 @ 8:29am
@SizeDrip: I'm currently working on the mission to find a solution for this issue. I think this brightness issue was introduced with the postprocessing changes in ARMA's recent patches. Since I have a snowstorm script running in the mission, there might be a conflict with that.

But also some players of this map and other modded maps report general problems with lighting if those maps haven't been updated since ARMA 1.62 or 1.64.

If it's a general problem of the map, I suggest to port the mission to regular "autumn" Chernarus. As long as it is for private use, anyone can feel free to port the mission to another map. I will do that myself anyways if I can't solve the brightness problems.
SizeDrip 12 Dec, 2016 @ 3:10pm
This is a pretty good mission, but I have a quick question. Is there any way to make the mission less bright? Everything is so bright that it hurts my eyes. The mission seems to have some sort of filter or something.
tourist  [author] 23 Oct, 2016 @ 8:09am
Well, the no ACE version with zombies CAN be downloaded via the workshop - this and all the other versions have their own workshop pages as well. I left those dropbox links here just for convenience, but thx for the report of them not working.
danmatsuma 22 Oct, 2016 @ 4:05pm
drop box 404 error not found, non of your stuff shows up. So don't download this until that's fixed otherwise waste lots of time with the 'requirements'
tourist  [author] 29 Jul, 2016 @ 7:08am
THX, I honestly confess the mission was designed for SP first, only made playable for MP later. But within RAVAGE framework it should be possible to play, so I'm waiting for your reports on getting things to work. Do you reveice any error messages again and again? If so, what do they say?
D-ManOz 28 Jul, 2016 @ 3:42pm
@tourist I grabbed all the mods above up to 'additional requirements'. No ACE stuff. I'll keep trying things and let you know if I get it to work. The SP is excellent ;)
tourist  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 12:19pm
@Bear: good to hear that you enjoy the mission. I think that D-Man should give some more details about his problems then. Maybe he was playing the ACE version? There I guess updates are necessary.
Bearஇڿڰۣ--- 28 Jul, 2016 @ 12:44am
@tourist They all can run normally
tourist  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 12:08am
@Bear: so you did get it to work in SP? Or did u try MP as well?
Bearஇڿڰۣ--- 25 Jul, 2016 @ 6:31pm
It's cold dead.:dyanna:I thought it was fantastic!
tourist  [author] 24 Jul, 2016 @ 6:26am
Well, it was made with an older version of RAVAGE, so I'll try to update the modules from RAVAGE Mod first to the most recent version. Stay tuned for the update!
D-ManOz 24 Jul, 2016 @ 3:23am
I got it to work in SP - NICE. But to co-op with buddies through Evolve OR even start it on the internet, couldn't get it to work at all. Any thoughts?
dayanmarine541972 30 Apr, 2016 @ 9:49am
ok!, thks!
tourist  [author] 30 Apr, 2016 @ 8:58am
Oh yes, AI slots are playable. You start with two AI buddies, later get two more - and that's not counting the recruitable ambient AI from RAVAGE itself
dayanmarine541972 29 Apr, 2016 @ 9:34pm
nice, i play sp. AI must be playable. Regards
