I have a "NO ZEDS" version of my mission here on the workshop. Just use this version & enjoy!
I'm using ACE. thx
it's a known problem they only appear in MP, but the actual loot drops/crashsites DO appear in the gameworld - just not on the map. So it's pure surprise and luck to come across one of them ;-)
the AIS/A3Wounding script and it's documentation have been updated recently. The older version used in the current build of my mission might react weird if you go to an unconscious person like Dimitri and use the standard BIS "Treat" option on him.
The BIS SP save will save, well, everything at the cost of a potential performance decrease over longer playing times. I had, however, only one significant FPS drop near the end of the mission though when I was fighting my way through the City of Chernogorsk to reach one of the hospitals to find treatment for Dimitri and the other teammembers as well; they were all unconscious :-0
if you play alone anyway, you can run it as a SP mission and use BIS saving. I recently did a complete playthrough of the mission with that method and was able to save for an unlimited amount of times because the RAVAGE savegame module is set to give you unlimited saves in SP regardless of difficulty settings.
So actually for playing alone I'd even suggest this method as preferrable. Also there is one BIG difference to consider between a RAVAGE MP save and a BIS SP save regarding AI buddies and equipment you have stashed in vehicles and boxes:
I managed to fix the problem by switching over to another snow script! YAY!!!
Also I made some minor adjustments utilizing the new RAVAGE loot and equipment options.
So go out & enjoy that mission!
But also some players of this map and other modded maps report general problems with lighting if those maps haven't been updated since ARMA 1.62 or 1.64.
If it's a general problem of the map, I suggest to port the mission to regular "autumn" Chernarus. As long as it is for private use, anyone can feel free to port the mission to another map. I will do that myself anyways if I can't solve the brightness problems.
