@CHINOX thanks again! Expect the same intense firefights in Desert of Fire soon because I will be using the same random patrol script. Also, during testing I would barely make it to the extraction with 2 team mates left lol, so I just made it easier to complete/end the mission with who ever makes it there first lol.

Hello again mate. I just finished this one. Very nice too. Quite intense firefights, and difficult because of fog. The only thing is that the mission ends before all the team gets to the extraction point. Other than that it was fine, thanks and hope to see more from you. Cheers.

UPDATE! ROYAL SIEGE SEQUEL DEVELOPEMENT: Hello all, as you know like many other developers we have been at a stand still since the last ARMA update. Now that things have smoothed out developement of the RS sequel will continue on. Also I have started over from the ground up due to the release of a map that fits the scenario phenomenally. In addition I have aquired an amazing soundtrack and ambient sounds; so if you loved the atmospheric tension and feel of RS then you're going to love this next installment. Enjoyed this, got all but one guy out. Couldn't destroy the AA - two bombs, 3 missiles and 250 rounds of .50 cal. Not a scratch on it. Loaded my guys onto a truck and sped through the town running bad guys over. That worked a treat, I'd go for that tactic again.

It has nothing to do with reviving or respawning, it occurs after using the team switch function. My guess would be it is caused by how you have the owners of each task set up. Like I said, it's not really an issue, it just caught me by surprise when I was already 2/3 of the way through the mission and I had to restart because I was unsure of what to do. Several tasks were completed, canceled, and assigned and while I was busy watching the notifications for them pop up I got my head blown off, then after I swapped to another unit I couldn't see the tasks so I restarted the mission. Once I wrote everything down I was able to complete it despite losing a few of the units I played as/swapped to during the mission, including the initial squad leader.

@Mynock, Thanks for the feed back! A revive/respawn function will be implemented very, very soon. I'm just testing and tuning to see which works best at the moment.

Thanks for the time and effort spent making the mission. In progress tasks get deleted if the team leader goes down in single player mode making it very difficult to complete the objectives if you can't read them again; I had to physically write everything down on a notepad to complete the mission after several restarts since I kept forgetting what the tasks had said and where I was supposed to go or what I was supposed to do. Not really a problem, but a helpful hint before the player starts the mission might be good to avoid unneccassary restarts when the in progress tasks disappear.

Just in case it helps, when I designed my own mission which ( Last Stand: Kavala if you're interested) implements the revive system - all it requires is the inclusion of this line in you "description.txt":

respawnTemplatesWest[] = {"Revive"}

Really liked the intro, it must have been complicated to do. The gameplay is fun, got myself into some major shootouts with the enemy, felt like I was in a good war movie. The Sicario score is very popular, it's becoming like the next Black Hawk soundtrack almost. I actually used that as well in my new mission lol we got the same taste brother, loved that movie.

Good atmosphere with the fog and like how you used the fire script. Well done.

@Stormleecher very nice! I'll have to give it a try with ACE and C2. The Movie is one of my favorites of all time 'SICARIO'. Coincidentally it is available on steam now, so check it out and turn your volume up. It is amazingly dark and atmospheric, I went to see it twice when it came out.

Nice Intro & Outro. Music and ambiance are there. Mission not too difficult or easy. I have played it with ACE (for AI boost) & C2 - Command & Control (for refined tuning & control of my AIs) and I finished the mission with 4 or 5 of them with me. Nice job.

(Can you tell me from which game or movie the <beast.ogg> track belong to ?)
