Great! Let me know when it is ready! I don't know if people noticed but this mod adds a great synergy with the skill "Bladestorm". If you blue move slash and the enemy is still standing, you can activate Bladestorm with your second AP. Implacable is no longer a no-brainer for me :)

There are ways around it, but it involves other mods. If you use Utility Slot sidearms, for example, and equip a melee secondary weapon, it will give you slash, and then you can make the choice between Slash and Fleche. It almost seems like an unintentional balancing thing. You can have a slash attack that can do awesome damage, but it always uses your turn, or you can do less damage, but it gives you the versatility to hit and run.

ofc LW toolbox all but disabled the regular 'slash' when they created their perk pack - it only works if you are directly adjacent now - and one AP doesn't work with fleche. bugger.

also curious about how this mod would interact with these mods?? This is still the best ranger buff mod out there :) so i'd like to use it along with the weapons added by the linked mods(without breaking anything) for variety

Very usefull mod, in big part thanks to the very well done and explained configuration file.

I have personally conditioned the station sword with blademaster like below because the default seemed to strong for me with a phantom/shotgun oriented ranger :

+STATION_SWORD=(APRemaining=eConsumeOneAP, AbilityRequired=Blademaster)
+STATION_SWORD=(APRemaining=eMovementOnly, AbilityRequired=None)

didn't work, any ideas appreciated. would like it to work like how lancelot described. it was working like that my whole campaign right up until yesterday. I was in late game and got shot down for the first time is when it stopped working.

thanks, but the only problem is: i dont have any mods to make offline and cant download this one,because i not have the game, is for test it in a friend house, i only get 4 mods from nexusmods that i find useful and i'd liked, and i find this and another 2 i want but cant obtain, so i can be playing with 7 mods. And his game is not puchased from steam

I missed that comment earlier, just to say steam does not actually delete old mod files when you unsub, so unsub + resub is not a great way to refresh the files.

Such as? This is the only one that helps my Ranger. I did a personal .ini edit of swapping RnG w/ Implacable, that's all. Bladestorm is in the same place; in fact, this worked for me previously, the way I set up my Ranger tree.

Okay, so something else now: I have Implacable w/ Bladestorm. With your mod and a standing slash BEFORE moving should give me a full blue move for Implacable. I'm now having the vanilla yellow move Implacable after slashing.

I don't think this mod works at all...I've unsubbed and subbed again to no avail...

I can also see that a stationary sword slash should consume 1 AP, allowing me to slash again, correct? It doesn't. The AbilityRequired=none should mean I don't need Bladestorm to have that work. Yet it doesn't.

Basically, standing slashes don't work.
Blue Move + Slash w/ Bladestorm doesn't give me another Blue Move + Slash.

In essence, my Ranger hasn't really changed at all. Did the bug fix just throw this out of whack for me?

@-bg-, I see you said you fixed something. What exactly? It seems to have somewhat disabled the extra slash after a blue move slash for a Ranger with Bladestorm.

I tried putting BS on all of the abilities, it still didn't work...hmm. I just was really enjoying the double blue move + slash, then implacable away. I'm not able to wrap my head around the three or various Sword Interactions...I'll reset it to the previous config but...

Would putting "Bladestorm" in most of the _SWORD abilities allow this to happen? As far as I can see, only Bladestorm is being applied to the 3rd line:

+BLUEMOVE_SWORD=(APRemaining=eMoveOrAttack, AbilityRequired=Bladestorm)\

But does the following line cancel this out:

+BLUEMOVE_SWORD=(APRemaining=eMovementOnly, AbilityRequired=None)

I used to be able to Blue Move Slash and then still Blue Move Slash because I had Bladestorm, but seems after you did the patch, it doesn't work like that anymore. Do I need to edit the .ini myself?

@-bg- i've already did actually, i dont think the blue move sword + yellow move sword works.
Like i was using it in debug, it says i've been returned one AP but turns still ends,
Even though i copy exactly the commented out behaviour and erased the new.

I really like the double sword though, OP early but pretty fun mid and late with double enemies, so it wasn't OP or anything

if you confirm the action, sometimes it paths around such that they move a yellow move before slashing.

Looking like I'll have to dive into the code and see what I can tweak around to try and make things consistent. There are times I'm just unsure what the Ranger is capable of doing.

For example, I'm using a Steam controller, the free-move after slice or extra slice *ONLY* typically works when I use my binded right-mouse-click button to make the slash as opposing as simply confirming the action, as I do with all other perks, with the A button.

Using the A button *will not* kick in the 1-AP Sword mod, even if I just blue move and slash. I *have to be sure* that I'm using the right-mouse-click button to blue move so the mod works.

It's really interesting.

@Ser Lancelot when a codex clones, she actually teleports away, leaving behind the clone, since the clone is not a 'previous target', you cannot chop again
