Could you Please Possibly make a mod that makes all units in the "Players faction" stronger by say 100% so range-morale-health-armor-melee etcetera, Pretty please and many heartfelt thank you's.

Slavic Archers are still absolutely broken, but some of the Eastern Archers are also very powerful. Kurdish Archers for example are able to take on any infantry in the game and score 200-400 kills per unit.

There are some Archers that are kinda shit, like Sagittarii or low tier barbarian ones, but in my games the AI deals the vast majority of damage through Archers and Crossbows, because ranged units are just ridiculous nowadays

From what I remember, Slavic archers were the only ranged units that actually did damage since poison was so broken. Most of the other archers deal pitiful damage.

If there is anything this game doesn't need its upgrades to ranged units. Archers and Crossbows do about 70-80% of the damage in a game with four units of slavic archers being able to wipe out over 1500+ elite Sassanid units on their own

this does not work with radious mod, i tried putting a capital A infront of name, i moved the name to the first spot in the mod manager and in the file

@Hamod I see. I can definitely understand that. Vanilla archers get like 20 kills at best while some levy swordsmen can score up to 100 in the early game. It definitely is frustrating...

I might have buffed them too much, because I wanted to actually see them doing something. I remember being so frustrated playing vanilla because the archers there were only tickling the enemy.

Also after a few hours of playing with this mod, I have to say, that archers are too powerful. They deal biggest casualties in every battle, no matter how they are used. It's just click for profit. Still I like seeing them doing anything unlike vanilla.

I think slingers are far too strong with this one. I still prefer your mod over vanilla, but I'd be glad to see some damage nerf for them. They shouldn't be almost on par with archers. I think dropping damage to something between 30 and 20 should do the trick.

Just the mod I was looking for, thanks. I used it with radious total war mod and it wasnt working so for any one who cant get this mod to work with radious total war mod, just simply rename the mod and load/place it before radious mod.

@zenBeast It should work as long as nothing conflicts with the mod. You'll notice that the arrows have increased damage in a unit's stats.

I can install and use this mod in the middle of my campaign, correct? Not like I have to start a new campaign in order for it to take effect? How can I tell if it is working without trying to notice the difference in battle? Will numbers on the units in the Grand Campaign unit info (not the encyclopedia) be increased?

@StrataMort Casualties caused by the poison archers are by the poison statues effect, not the arrow damage themselves. Besides, poison archers are already OP.

I increased the range of most archers to 175, but I left the long bow archers range as it is. (200) but I haven't touched ghe poison archers yet.

what did you increase the range to? I suggest getting the better unit tooltip mod <or whatever its called> so you have the range in your unit screen shots

i tried this mod with Radious mods and it didn't seem to change the missile damage of vanilla troops or any other troops

I just realized the crossbow damage values are way off, I'll lower them a bit when I get home.
