If you want to hail hell on the entire galaxy, this faction will do the job in late game... it's sooo fun to just blast everything with their splash cannons :D

map edge spawning is caused by bigger maps mod being in the wrong order. Usually gets fixed by placing it at the bottom of the list (in-game modlist)

Disabling a mod called "Bigger Maps" fixed this issue for me,

love the faction but when i make ships in the designer menu sometimes the command block vanishes andf the game becomes unresponsive and ideas on this?

He probably went into Sandbox and did "fleetpalette FactionID" , which spawns all the ships from the specified faction.

I love playing as this faction but i been trying to find some of the mega ships to try and playas. i havent been able to find any living ones but always find large dead remains, is there something i need to do to make them appear or is it just a matter of waiting till i am far enough with the upgrades.

This is by far the best mod I've ever had in Reassembly, but I do have one question. What are the ''Cannon modifier (Null)'' and the ''Cannon upgrade (Null)'' supposed to do? I can't find use for them and the description doesn't make much sense to me. Other than that, this mod is the best.

Love this faction. been looking for a powerful capitol ship centered faction for a little while and this fits like a glove. Early game was slow moving because of the lack of efficient small ship weapons and being next to the powerful factions but thats understandable. All in all a great OP faction.

Can you use Cannon Upgrades on Beam Weapons? I have way to much spare energy for my Ammagedon beam so I want to make it EVEN MORE POWERFUL

PS: I use a modifyed Harbinger, So size/P limit isnt an issue

Too bad I have never run into a Hercules faction member yet... I want to. Playing as literally the most powerful and achieving race gets a bit boring if you can't fight them.

I've since uninstalled your mod and was playing another, however was having some buggy gameplay there too. It could be my local files curroupted somehow, but I've deleted and re-installed since then, or it could even be some bugs coming to light in the base game's scripting. It's really hard to say with these sorts of things. I still gave you a thumbs up, really did like the mod. Don't change anything just for me lol.

The culprit might be the megaton launcher, which have huge kinetic power (it can blast light hostile ships across the screen in seconds). For the black screen I haven't been able to reproduce that in my playthrough, so I am not really sure the cause. I could try lowering the blast intensity of megaton significantly to see if that helps.

VERY fun mod! Unfortunately, I've been having some bugs with it, some kind of unit collision issue which shoots my ship off faster than the speed of light! Funny the first time, not so much the second time. Also had it black screen on, couldn't alt f4 or alt tab out of it. Couldn't even bring up task manager (ctrl alt del worked but when that screen goes away it's just black) Had to hold the power button. Still, bugs included would probably give it a 3/5. I loved starting in the middle.

Also massive ships tend to spawn VERY often in small areas where Hercules contol. (Sunspots ect)

IMO those Cerberus guns and the hull/armor needs rebalancing. Not by much; my suggestions are to lower the regen speed on the hull and the range on the guns. Or lower the health on the hull/armor and the P cost on the guns.

For example my 20,000 P elemental faction ship had half of its side ripped away at long range by one volley of those Cerberus guns from a 10,000 P starbase. I didn't die to it but I couldn't kill it either because I didn't dare get close enough to the station to use all of my weapons against it. I would've died for sure if I did.

Other than that I think this faction is pretty fun to play as and especially against.

This faction is meant to be slow but pretty strong, that's why it's limited to the center of the map.
But well to be fair the designs of this faction is pretty anti-Sentinel. Heavy armors to prevent ramming, big and slow guns to hit slow targets like the Sentinels, powerful shields/armor also require lots of raw DPS to take down - something the Sentinel lacks. Currently I plan to add weaker designs to the region to compensate... I'll see what I can do.

I like to think im a competent ship builder and as Sentinel Ive been able to go up against almost anything with a single ship or a small fleet but these things are beyond me. Its a good thing they dont expand much or else the map would be swarmed with these guys in minutes.

How is it fun to play as these guys when theres absolutely no chance of losing?

Admittedly I didn't paid much attention to fighting this faction with other factions. I pushed an update earlier with some new weapons and many edits to ships including the Sunspot (see change notes for detail). The firepower is roughly the same but it should have some obvious weakness now.

I think some other ships/bases should be toned down a bit as well.

Ehb, I managed to do it a little while back. I use several mods even for the default factions, so that was probably what helped me the most. I had a much higher P count than normal, and I had some special weapons to help me along the way, but you could probably do it yourself if you tried. I had a bunch of the spinal charging lasers all in a line, and set them to ripple fire, and I had a couple nukes on my ship as well, and I had great point defense thanks to Arsenal Forgery . Even then, it cost me several deaths (and lots of lost resources) before I finally destroyed that giant thing. I might have another go at it today.

Has anyone found a way to take out those sunspots as Sentinel? Nukes get taken out easily by all the drones or missiles or whatever they are. Ramming obviously doesnt work. The guns cant do anywhere near enough damage to even get through the outer layer of armor before all those giant lasers melt my ship. Is it even possible?

@TeoUltika :) Yeah boosters work on all cannon-based weapons: spinal or turret. The biggest guns can have 40+ boosters on them, making them potentially overpowered but will drain your reactor in seconds

Alright, it's definitely just a mod conflict. Anyways, I was messing around with the new cannon booster blocks, sticking them into the spinal cannons, when I tried doing something absolutely insane. I stuck one onto a turret, and it frickin worked! Now I can have cerberus turrets that don't shoot stupidly slow projectiles! Huzzah!

@TeoUltika somehow I can't reproduce the bug. Like what Onic said it could be conflicting with another mod or some bug cause the faction territory to not spawn at all. With many mods the spawn area of this faction can get pretty small, down to one square on the minimap.
I suggest you disable some mods and create new player to see if issue persists.
Also I made the territory a bit bigger in the next update.

Its probably conflicting with a Map-mod or a mod that has more than 1 faction in it.

Alright, bug report time. For some reason, when I try to play as these guys, I spawn all the way in the lower left corner of the map by a lone station. When I leave the station to go for the main area of the map, the station stops existing. When I try to capture a station, it is always unsafe. I cannot claim any territory as this faction. Whenever I die, I respawn all the way in the bottom left, in a void of nothing. This is either the most challenging faction ever, or a very buggy faction. Help?

@LukeRossen Lasers are affected by shields, but there is a long-standing bug where if the width of a laser is too great it will totally ignore shields. I assume the Titan Beam is suffering from this, but I have yet to check to be sure.
