Beautiful map. Excellent use of the gel. Made me think every time I moved forward. Thank you for the hard work.

Great chamber, took me forever to figure out.

Yeah; saw it and had forgotten that I played it a while ago :P

Thanks, I'm GLaD you liked it. BTW, CC5 is out.

I got stuck on one little thing in the beginning that involved angling gel through portals . After that everything else fell into place. Like Innocentive, I didn't need the "X" button. Much better than CC3 :p2cube: Looking forward to CC5 if it's happening.

Thank you. I think this chamber is my favorite one of the five Companion Cube tests.

Another nice one Andi.

Thank you both for testing, I appreciate it.

Very complex - hard to figure out what to do next with the complex gel bounces. Without your W/T I would have been frustrated very quickly...the last bounce to the exit area - was either extremely touchy or I just could not get it to hit and bounce back over to the exit - kept hitting the angled plate and going straight up....oh well. .. thanks for the series,. I will play some of your other maps.... good mapping just difficult to get around....

Oh, I was so unhappy when I got to the exit door. But, then I turned around and saw the button. Got happy again. Very proud of myself finishing this one.

WOW, you sure do like making these gargantuan maps to play! Lots of running around moving the CC from one place to another putting bounce gel here and there,( I almost gave up playing) but I will say it was worth it for the final fling finale.

Good bounce gel map. See you around the workshop, Andi.

Thank you for testing, I'm very happy hear that you both liked it.

Very fun map! Even though you can access other areas as you please, the map layout makes it obvious as to what needs to be done in what order. IMHO, that's pretty tough to do with a puzzle like this. Looks great as always. Also, nothing jumped out at me as breakable. I feel like I did everything as intended, but will check your video.

Just watched yours and I left the first area slightly different. Completely forgot about crossing over to the final button area with the bounce, so I did that different, but all in all nothing to fix.

I can talk about the nitpicks, saying that some ledges can be lowered a bit and so on,
but all in all, this is a pretty solid companion cube map.

It captures the feel of the puzzle in a cc map quite nicely (not the atmosphere though, because remember, in Portal 1 and 2 the cc special and we care about it NOT because it has hearts on it but because GLaDOS talks about it all the time and makes us relate to it - that's something a workshop map is doubtably ever gonna do).

This map has a few moments when I thought it's really clever like when I couldn't get back to the first room at first, when I managed to get gel in front of the stairway, when the cc came floating via funnels at the end, etc.

The point is - looks nice, the puzzle is nice and the layout...feels about right. Thumbs up! :)

Very fun and well layed out bounce map; maybe I skipped a couple of moves to reach the exit sooner, but it's perfectly fixed and still fitted in the walkthrough; a couple of tricks to advance in the map playthrough, nothing too complicated, thumbs up; I liked GBMusicMaster ambiance sound too, very subtil, but it's there.

A very enjoyable gel chamber! Very challenging in places, especially that last bounce. It took
me quite a few tries to get that one! :steamhappy: Thanks for a great looking AND playing map.
Thumbs up! :p2cube:

Thanks for testing, I'm GLaD you liked it.

@Innocentive I knew about that exploit, dire tested it last night and he used the same exploit you did, so I added a fizzler so you can't do that anymore. I may take out the angled panel though. In the original, the jump was farther way and the angled panel was needed. After so many revisions, that panel was moved closer and I just got used to doing that way. Thanks for the video and thanks for testing.

@TreasureGhost Thanks for the feedback, I may use some of your advice when I have to revise this chamber. :)

Good looking map.
I would suggest adding some overlays/decals to show some stain, the map was very clean it's not realistic for my taste.
The music wasn't for my taste, I didn't think it fit the chamber but it was well made and could use a better use in another test, probably not such clean map.
As usual I don't solve the puzzles but it should be adorable from my eyesight ;).
Kudos to the very detailed wall tiles.
Please create a prop_indicator_panel near every door you create, don't repeat Valve's mistake.
Thumbs up.
Innocentive 3 Dec, 2015 @ 2:39am
That was a fun chamber. But I did use an alternative way of reaching the exit because I never used that square/cross button. In fact I skipped the whole part on the right side of the upper chamber. I made a video . Not sure but I think you can prevent that by adding another fizzler on the entrance to the left part of the upper chamber.

Apart from that I liked it a lot! The only thing that I would change is the button that activates the flip panel in the sealed middle room. In my solution there was no sense to that. But having watched your walkthrough I assume you need it to prevent early exit. I would probably have sealed the middle room of for good except for the grating to the left part of the upper chamber. Just my 2 cents ;)

And the music was amazing!!!

Thank you very much. This chamber is one of my favorites, it think it flows well and it's fun to play... in my opinion anyway.
GBMusicMaster 2 Dec, 2015 @ 10:53pm
This is one of the best bounce gel chambers I've played. I absolutely adore the ingenuity of the different ways to use it and place it. The layout and style are wonderful--things are big enough to get a sense of the map, but not so big as to be overwhelming. I couldn't find any fault here--it's just about perfect. Thank you for letting me contribute the music! Thumbs up and favorited!! :p2cube:
