The mods are not designed to break the game. If it's a story feature, it's a story feature. No config mod here is designed to cheat those kind of things.

That could be over-ruling your mod, I know I'm not actiovely dealing with the Chosen Ones and the cult keep spreading.

if i remember correctly there was a mission with the chosen one church where you had to have cultists. maybe it's that

This mod doesn't seem to work on Cultists, I keep getting the 'X has become a cultist' notification, I think it is working on the devout perk though.

only cultists do that, not devouts. It's just that people want a religious-free fort to rule.

Have you checked if it is still installed? I checked my game and there is no option to install mods from steam anymore so I think it got removed?

Slso make sure you don't have the priest perk. It is not impossible for a colin to gain the perk/s, the chance is just lowered slightly.

I love the Game, but in all honesty Devouts are trouble and I wish there was some way to remove devotion from them, heck research brainwashing would be something, I like the Social drinker idea. Skeptic trait should be easier to obtain, I get 1 of those for every 10 devouts, and they spread devotion like a plauge.

it is too bad you can't make or tweak devout into "social drinker", similar to devout but instead doubles bars but ignores churches

you just have to download the config.ini and edit the things in there. Then open up the game, put it in and upload it to steam workshop. easy

I've been trying to make mods myself, but i can't find the file that needs to be configured. I even followed this guide: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=481664516&searchtext=modding

But still can't find the file...

I'm looking in the right place (the Local Store file) but i find no config.ini file, just a folder called #SharedObjects, but it doesn't contain the file i need to mod...

I'd really appreciate some help with this. I'm also gonna give this mod a try :3

I end up either turning them into bars (to be ironic), apartments (to house survivors) or into farms (ya know, something that's actually productive, lol)

We need inquisition in our new world... Or maybe the one with sceptic perk may purge religions out of community when working together with cultist/devout (and chance to kill each other)?

and i have yet to of seen the option to Ban the Chosen Ones mainly because you have to of had i think half of your Survivors commit Suicide before that happens which i never allow cause i just Isolate the bastards the moment i find one Infected with such Ideals

i don't think once someone that gets a Cultist Perk can get rid of it without the aid of like another faction or just sending to their deaths it's Permenantly on them if either of these conditions aren't possible!

i know this is just a mod and all but to me the Cultist mechanic is easy to deal with so long as you just isolate the Infected right off the bat that's what i do anyway so with that really done that's in a way making any chances of them spreading already at 0% even without this!

do you think you could make a mod that just stops the cultist perk from spreading at all? im fine with the devout perk, but cultist always annoys me
