Just a warning so other people dont make the same mistake: DO NOT TURN ON DETECT ASTEROIDS WITH HIGH RANGE
Fyury 22 Oct, 2018 @ 12:59pm
Does anyone have an issue with the sensor not catching when an object goes out of range? It detects the object great when it first enters, but then never resets or triggers the other action when the object moves out again. Originally was doing this with enemy ships but subsequently have tried wtih other ship types as well as the player. Always detects when entering, but not existing. I've tested wtih ranges from 5m to 3000m. Help or suggestions appreciated.

A great mod.. I use it with a radar script..
But can you cgange it so it does no remove the original sensor?

Perhaps keen will fix it sometime, thanks though :)

When I tested it, I set it to 10m and I just went up and down and it played and stopped a sound block. I had read what you said on reddit and in that case there is nothing you can do, unless there is another solution to it. Good luck!

it worked for me too but it was detecting the surface even when it was in the sky with the range set at a few meters, I think it's detecting the planet voxel cube instead of the surface itself :/

I just checked and if you turn on detect asteroid mode that should work. It worked for me.

Does this not work on planets? I'm trying to set up a hover tank but it doesn't seem to detect the planet's surface :/

Great mod! I've figured out how to use it finally. :)

I have been using this mod in order to create a long-ranged tracking missile, and the mod works wonderfully.

I tried but you can not set it less than on meter. I think you might have to go into the source code for the Sensor and change the unit to centimeter, if thats possible.
Paranoidmarv 22 Dec, 2015 @ 8:30pm
I would also like to know if sensor extents can be set to less than 1 meter. I'm making a sensor array that needs to be very precise.
Mr.AoKay  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 12:40pm
why?

Possible to mod bellow 1meter?

Woodzykiler Just tested my sensor with no other mod and it works fine even with detect astorids setting on. It might be one of the other mods you are using. I will tell you to make a new world and add one mod test it and then add anohter mod and test them together. Otherwise I dont know what to tell you as my sensor is working fine by itself.
Mr.AoKay  [author] 15 Nov, 2015 @ 11:28am
There might be an issues with trying to detect astroids as you are on a planet, I will look into it but it might be something I cannot fix so just dont use that setting for now.
MrFox 15 Nov, 2015 @ 7:55am
HUGE list, about 25 outhers... it only happens when i was setting things up on my planet, and i select Detect astroids...
Mr.AoKay  [author] 14 Nov, 2015 @ 7:09pm
Just tested the sensor, also had a friend test it as well and our games ran fine, no locking or crashing issues. Are you using any other mods Woodzykiler?
Mr.AoKay  [author] 14 Nov, 2015 @ 6:47pm
Will do, Thanks for letting me know.
MrFox 14 Nov, 2015 @ 1:36pm

I would look into that, as I am new to modding and a full time college student, I dont know how long it will take me to make a new block or modify the ingame welder to to that.
cpt.budder 4 Nov, 2015 @ 9:37am
Hey I really liked your recent mod. I was wondering if you could make a block mod where it's like a projector block but if you put in the materials in it it will start constructing the blueprinted item. it starts to build the ship for you depending how much recorces you put in the block but it builds it in order like it you were welding it yourself. So when planets come out you could begin mass production operations such as miners or even fighters and capital ships.

Not like it is against the rules. :)
Mr.AoKay  [author] 1 Nov, 2015 @ 2:38pm
Ya I thought so, but I didn't check before I started to work on this one. Plus its a good modding practice. The only reason I uploaded it was so my brother could get it so we can use it in our server.
Mojo 31 Oct, 2015 @ 9:13pm
yup there is another 10,000M Sensor Mod out there...

I hate to nitpick, but there are numerous misspelled words in your title, picture, and description. :steamhappy:
