I think it's a very clever idea that maybe it is from the communist era, because the previous ones had elements of noble families, so obviously that would have to be redone. ;)

I also looked at the relevant Romanian laws and it looks like what the law says is that official symbols like coats of arms are *not* protected by copyright or anything else, they're just free to use from what I can tell

I also do in fact care about what it means cause I'm Romanian and autistic so I'm gonna do some digging. At the moment it looks like it might be the old, maybe communist-era coat of arms of Bran... no idea why it was changed though, it looks cooler than the current one

Damn, you actually looked into the legality of this stuff? For what it's worth, I'm like 99.999% sure the Romanian government would absolutely not go after you for using an official coat of arms in a silly game mod 😅

It's just posted by someone, so who really knows what the shield is really, but who cares? It's nice :D and Romanian law is restrictive about usage of official coat of arms.

Is the coat of arms a real one, or did you make it? Cause it's not the Bran coat of arms, and I can't find any that look like that in Brașov or Argeș counties :o

Ah, darn, I forgot to edit this map description completely Ghost BC Papa Emeritus II. That was the former mod that pre-dated the default terrain theme system that came out with the Snowfall release as free for all users. I believe there are a few themes that use sand as snow out now. I have no idea if they are good or not since I've been working hard on migrating these terrain packs and their maps over to the new system (for example, this one comes in a Snowfall version now). I found a new sand as snow theme for you, but there isn't much info. I can't tell if it's European (which this map would require). I will get to making the new Sand as Snow as soon as I can. Sometimes it has to be forced on (no idea why).. Load the save game you're running (or the map if you haven't started), then click on the top right menu button, then click on Options, and then the "Mods" link. Scroll down to the Themes mod. Click the drop down menu. Select something else than is currently active (none, improved, whatever is not currently selected) and then click the Sand as Snow again. Poof, it should now turn on, I hope. Let me know if that fixed it. On a side note: on the 18th there will be a new update in the game which will include the terrain theme maker integrated into the regular game for everyone! So, I will update these maps with new theme packs that are integrated into the game.

sorry guy, i have a problem with this wonderful map. So, the 3 themes are enable but when i load the map there is no snow.. Juste sand. have you got a idea ? Thanks

Disregard my last post. I had the tropical theme enabled which made the pine tree look weird.

Hmm... I want to use this fabulous map for my next city but I have a problem. I installed the 4 required mods including the snowy pine trees but they are the color of sand in-game.

I have made sure that the mods are enabled. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Any tips?

Hi there ramrom, what I do is move the full set of the textures for this map in its own special folder, like "transylvania textures" or whatever, which serves as their storage box. Tthen your new textures set has its own folder, too.... and then you can move the new texture set into the mod's special folder. Think of it like putting on different glasses, put them in their box when you're not wearing them. I hope that makes sense?

What if you want to use another map that also uses terrain texture replacer mod?
