how do i host this game to make others join? the map doesnt appear in my Costum map list. the only way i can start the map myself is via Costum campaign but its no fun playing it alone, help anyone?

One of the roman factions (probably the Eastern one, obv) should be Italians, but you should remove their gunpowder units. Rather than that, good work bro.

I saw this on YouTube when I was supposed to be doing work. I would love to get this but I have the normal AOE2 not HD edition. :/ Also, @ Doomed World the *Byzantines did not have canons the Ottomans did and sadly they took over Constaintinople.

@Hussarknight yes, but Franks have a weak feudal age and castle age (especially without knights, which are disabled). It would be an unfair handicap to make someone play with them, basically

I want to play this with just 1 friend vs AI but the romans are in slots 2 and 6, how are we supposed to play as them? Being in slot 1 as the host and being purple makes me the blue faction in the game.

Nvmind dude, just wanted to see if it was possible because the map is very good and would be fun to have Western Rome as the Romans using the Roman Civilization Mod but the Byzantine would work just as well I suppose since they were Eastern Rome for a time. Also does this map work well with bots?

@rodymagic - it probably won't be possible to play if you're playing the AoC version instead of HD. If you have HD but just play it through Voobly intead of Steam, you may have to find where it downloaded to and copy the file over to the correct folder in your game files

@Captain lzayoi I doubt you'll ever read this as the reply is really late but the blue player - Huns - were in reality a very nomadic people and they only really settled in places which they conquered.

Make forgottens edition, add in more of africa and asia. Alexander the great (slavs) conquers greece, north africa, and then asia... Can also do a templar knights take back jerusalem.

About what I said before, you can't fix it. When you set the damage to player 6 instead of player 1, it corrects itself when you exit the scenario even if you save it. Ruined several of my attack plans.

@Tovarisch Alexeyevich - after the 4.0 patch in June, the older scenarios pre-dating that are labelled "legacy" and don't work anymore. There's some process the original creator can go through to update it, though I don't know anything about that.

Would you consider other alternatives if it proves unpopular, such as starting the barbarians non-nomad (if I recall in the video, at least the Blue player starts nomad), or giving them walls of some kind? I do feel like it should be an option for the Romans, though not something strong enough to cripple more than one tribe with one push.

@Captain Izayoi - it definitely had the potential to end the game early before the barbarians had a chance to settle in, and I didn't want games ruined because a high ranked player got East Romans and just charged Elite Cataphracts and siege rams into Feudal age towns haha

May I ask why the balancing of losing health outside of Roman territory was necessary? Was raiding by Romans that strong?
