Then your fighters must be bulky as hell, not to mention expensive to build. I'm going to guess most of the people boasting about how many large reactors they use are using sandbox mode to 'easy' design. I mean, why bother making your design effective when you can just add another 8 large reactors and build a wall of large thrusters, right? :P

Overkill?
Well, i had about 5 large reactors in my superfast fighter so, pretty formidable, those reactors might power any other attatchment, it may function as a mobile base, or a spacecraft carrier for land.
