Nicely done scenario with a good background history and explanation of events for it. I like how you translate the Dutch names with explanations of their little stories.

@Kirb
Cheers! I appreciate the comment.

The most solid module for this game I've played thus far. Well-paced, a decent explanation of where to go, good variety, etc.

Just finished it ! Very good ! Hope some others will come

Edit: Allright, allthough it is a pretty cocky expectation to have people read back to 2015, I have to give to you, that you explained it. Still: I question your artistical choice from an objective point of view, taking into account that I even wasn't the first, not even second, to point that out.
Jiamil 20 Apr, 2019 @ 11:08pm
I made about the same comment on 27th July 2017, no answer since then.

@ Jiamil
I know. I've explained why I used the "s" following Raubritter a whole bunch of comments ago.
Jiamil 19 Apr, 2019 @ 11:56pm
Last try after some time again: The plural of "Raubritter" in German still is "Raubritter".
The Black Baron  [author] 19 Apr, 2019 @ 12:34pm
@ wimble_king
I am glad you enjoyed it! I think providing background story and information about armies and places enhances the atmosphere.
I had an improved version saved somewhere that I never got around uploading. I might get around to that in the future.
wimble_king 19 Apr, 2019 @ 12:38am
Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed all the backstories and hints to the ruins.
hottomo 29 May, 2018 @ 12:23am
A bit easy in normal but very entertaining, I really liked it. Thank you.

Lörtsy 17 Aug, 2017 @ 1:18pm

I just finished Raubritter of Meerdrecht. Very good scenario. Really fun.
Jiamil 27 Jul, 2017 @ 9:53am
Small thing but plural of Raubritter is also Raubritter.
Vorozcov 21 Jun, 2017 @ 9:52am
Oh, just noticed that you are planning a campaign. So good luck to you again! It will be great, if you find time for that.
Vorozcov 21 Jun, 2017 @ 9:44am
Good scenario, i really enjoy it. Special thanks for descriptions of everything. It greatly improved the atmosphere! But also i think there is much to improve, something like sidequests or some epic ending battle. So good luck to the author and maby you find a time one day to make this map eve better.
sourvage 22 Apr, 2017 @ 11:54am
Awesome!:Dignity: But for Knight choose Hard level - to extend playtime
Grimspike 25 Feb, 2017 @ 12:48pm
Very nice scenario. That was the first one I have ever finished. Good work with storyline and dialogs. Thanks for your work! :KneelingBow:
DoomKnight 12 Feb, 2017 @ 8:44pm
good add on look forward to more
AGiantPie 22 Oct, 2016 @ 3:44pm
Well done.
The Black Baron  [author] 17 May, 2016 @ 12:41pm
@Rementos: I started to work on a new scenario. But I am too busy now to continue to work on it. Maybe one day I will have enough time to finish it. I'm glad you liked this one!
Rementos 17 May, 2016 @ 7:46am
Thank you for a well done scenario , but it was a bit sad that it ended so quicky . Are you planning to make another one ?
Arhivatius 27 Feb, 2016 @ 1:18am
Thank you
The Black Baron  [author] 26 Feb, 2016 @ 1:24pm
@ soliderns: There is a shallow route through the water, by the broken bridge. You can walk through it all the way to the southern part.
Arhivatius 26 Feb, 2016 @ 12:28pm
How can i reach victory in this scenario? How can i get to the south island?
noginovspb 30 Nov, 2015 @ 12:13am
Good scenario. You made a good job. Will be great to see more scenarious from you ))
M4j0rfr34k 20 Oct, 2015 @ 3:59pm
i really enhoyed this little scenario though u made me look like a fool trying to get to the island by hijacking a boat or something, though in the end i did think it was a little to easy even on the harder modes. so just for personal use i added a few more high level and quality units to the raubritter armies wich nearly doubled the difficulty if i where to rate this scenario id say 8/10 purely due to difficulty
Graufang 9 Oct, 2015 @ 7:09am
Oops, I haven't seen this
Forget my objection ;)
The Black Baron  [author] 9 Oct, 2015 @ 6:48am
@Graufang: Thanks for the comment, but if you look back a few pages in the comments you can see we've already had a little discussion about why I used an "s". ;)
Graufang 8 Oct, 2015 @ 3:19pm
Hi Jager.
The plural of "Raubritter" is "Raubritter" without "s". ;)
The Black Baron  [author] 10 Sep, 2015 @ 10:56am
Thanks for the tips, mlsmith45. The exclamation marks actually mark the main raubritter armies, not their castles. Red Arnoud's army was probably at the pub at the time. I think you are right about adding Robrecht's explanation to the quest description.
mlsmith45 6 Sep, 2015 @ 12:28pm
Hey great senario. Some of the explanation marks seemed to be at the wrong location. In the south, it was on the pub, rather than the castle ruins. And there was one in the north that I couldn't get to. Also, I'd suggest including some of the ally's explanation of the region in the quest description. I found I couldn't remember who was the weakest and strongest once he joined my army. Other than that, it's fantastic.

@randomq98: For automathic download, you must click "Autoupdate suscribes" in the starting panel when you launch the game.
juanval 16 Aug, 2015 @ 10:34am
I finished and I enjoyed a lot. Nice and solid scenario. Thanks Jager for creating it :steamhappy:
juanval 15 Aug, 2015 @ 11:27pm
Thanks for your answer. Then I'll play it. ;)
The Black Baron  [author] 15 Aug, 2015 @ 4:45pm
@randomq98: I will see if I can upload it somewhere else.

@juanval: It is pretty much done now. Though I think I may have left one minor bug in. Robbers will ask you to pay toll to cross a bridge. You can either fight them or pay them. Unfortunately, after you pay them they will still attack. It is not a big deal, but something I still have to fix. Other than that the scenario is done. :)
juanval 14 Aug, 2015 @ 1:19pm
Hello Jager. I'd like to ask you if you know when this first scenario is going to be completely developed. I'll wait to play until then. Thanks in advance!!
The Narrator 9 Aug, 2015 @ 2:47pm
doesnt matter wich game it is, steam wont install mods so i install them manually

could you add a mirror link for anual downloads please, the standard downloader doesnt work on my account
The Black Baron  [author] 6 Aug, 2015 @ 12:40pm
@VPeric: I'm currently working on adding more choices, journal entries, and other things that take a bit more scripting. Redoing a lot of the dialog takes some time though. I am also working on the second scenario, for the campaign. Thanks for the thumbs up! :)
VPeric 2 Aug, 2015 @ 8:30am
The scenario was quite nice, I liked using "low level" units again (after the campaign). I would perhaps enjoy if there was a bit of a choice (eg. refusing the merchants bribe or something), even if it didn't matter in the long run. Other than that, everything was nice and somewhat easy. Perhaps some respawning enemies? Or additional journal entries?

In any case, I'm glad it's getting expanded into a campaign -- perhaps adding in some choice with consequences down the line would be fun? In any case, a huge thumbs up... I hope you'll keep making stuff!
The Black Baron  [author] 26 Jul, 2015 @ 3:16am
@DailyLama: It took me more than a week to create the scenario. Especially playtesting and eliminating bugs took a long time. And I was learning all the features along the way. Once you master the editor tool, it goes a lot faster.
I did balancing by playing through the scenario several times myself. If I noticed something was too easy, I'd add more enemies to that army. Or if it was too hard, I'd remove a few enemies, or offer better rewards like money or items. By the end of the scenario (after defeating almost everything) I just tested if I was strong enough (or too strong) to fight the raubritters.

@ChaosCrash13: К сожалению , я не говорю по- русский . Я использую переводчик предприятием . Так что я не могу сделать сценарий на русском языке. Но я рад, что вам понравилось в любом случае.
The Black Baron  [author] 26 Jul, 2015 @ 3:08am
@konnijs: Thank you for hitting the thumbs up! That should be enough. If enough people hit the thumbs up button a rating will appear in starts. :)
ChaosCrash13 25 Jul, 2015 @ 6:36pm
Жаль что на английском. Но на безрыбье и рак рыба. Спасибо вам)
