Honestly i dont know but i've been writing my own custom loot drops for servers i was admin for, its some work but u can get what u want :D
and that way you can customise it the way you want to

If you have 120Gigs free to download the ARK devkit using the Epic Games Launcher, that would be the most reliable way. If you can reference the files by their path (i.e. "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Test/PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Stego.PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Stego'" ), then simply looking in your directory will be accurate. Otherwise you can rely on people to keep the wiki page up to date here: http://ark.gamepedia.com/Item_IDs

Drathek I got a question,
I'm trying to make my own custom loot drops for a specific server by doing it within the game.ini but i cant figure out what number to use for the quality the item will drop as. I've gotten ascended drops from a blue beacon wich shouldn't be possible. Could you point me to a guide or list of the quality id's?

Dan_SD if you are using the perscribed 1.25 difficulty (0.25 offset), then you will see up to mastercraft in a rare roll. Assuming that difficulty, in order to get mastercraft in one of the outside supply drops you'll only see that happen in lucky rolls for white, green, and red. For cave drops that will only happen in Tier 4 caves (See the section where I describe each crate individually in the description). Keep in mind that the quality is determined by your Difficulty modifier 1.25x (your recommended ini setting) & 0.25-4.0x base & 1.2x if roll is above 1 & crate multiplier 0.5-2x. I know it is somewhat complicated, but it is intended this way to give a much better MMO roll feel to the loot tables. :)

I have this mod loaded second only behind the color dinos mod. It seems to be working because I don't see any blurprints in the drops outside. But I am not seeing anything above ramshackle and even they are rare. 99% of the time it is normal gray items. So I went into 3 caves so far and all the loot inside is low level blueprints some for ramshackle equipment. It is very strange how it is acting.

Biscuit master, It is very likely this will not corrupt your save, but no matter what mod I recommend backing up your world folder.

How likely is it that the save file corrupts by adding this mod to a server?
it already has 3 other mods installed but the owner is anxious that it will crash the save

This mod does not require top priority slot unless you must have the material cost changes (they will revert to default scaling). For that, there is currently no alternative to this without having your other top priority mod also change the same values in their gamedata.uasset.

Is there away to do this with out using the mod? I have another mod that requires top priority in the mod list. think its giving me problems. We love both dont want to remove anything, trying to work around that.

Drathek maybe we are talking around eachother :) Or if you misunderstood what I suggested(Or Im just misunderstanding what you say)

red/yellow mod, uses spawnpoints that never drops red/yellow in the normal map.
I dont mean that we should have custom drop spots. I just mean that all spots use all colors.

Considering that red/yellow mod uses existing spots to spawn red/yellow, why is it not possible to drop all colors on all existing spots on the whole map?

Red yellow mod just replaces half of the drops as far as I understand - it still uses existing drop points specified by the stock TheIsland map. You must specify a new map OR only have one dynamic box that has every loot table in it.

Hmmm, how does the red/yellow only mod do it? Cause it randomizes between two colors. Why would it be hard to do it with all colors?

WsntMe could you submit the crashstack to buginfo@studiowildcard.com so we could look at it? (I'm part of the QA so that is why I have access to that email - but we would want to protect against crashes like it more than likely)

ikon, The drop locations are controlled by the map so in order for this mod to integrate with the stock TheIsland it will use its own method to chose what crates to spawn. The best I could do is standardize it where the mod only uses one color, but certainly not as interesting.

Suggestion: Could the mod make it so that any supply drop spot has equal chance for all colors to drop? Atm. south never has red/yellow, mid never has red. Would be awesome if the mod would also make all colors drop anywhere.

Primal Gaming, No certainly this mod is not going to make drops just outright better. However it rebalances the qualities, has no more structures in the loot tables, and restricts blueprints to caves.

The mod normally includes all fabricated weapons and all armor. If you use the game ini I provided, you will not get flak armor, and the only fabricated weapon you will get is the compound bow because the game ini excludes those items.

ok thanks, perhaps I am reading it wrong but the way I read it the flak items were part of the excluded list on the listed game.ini. I saw the following on it.

the bad player, You are not going to be able to add items to the loot tables, but you can exclude from the loot table using ExcludeItemIndices. Infact if you were using the game.ini from step 7, you would be excluding most fabricated weapons except compound bow, and flak armor.

Drathek, is it possible to modify what items drop from this? One of the things I found would be rather underwhelming blueprint drops from say carnovoire island cave or the southeast cave. Both locations where you need higher end armor to survive and the loot crates will contain things like blue prints for hide or even cloth armor.

Blue-red supply drops: Include previous sets (excluding previous resource set) at reduced chance, each tier increases max quality and # of rolls. There are not enough things in the loot table to be exluding things from those drops, but understand that no matter what, it has a chance to be much better quality.

Kapt'n Kelz, I am not sure I understand what you mean. All the loot changes are in the mod description above with links to a google document for more details. Basically it makes it so that caves are the only way to acquire BPs, and all the item weights are adjusted.
