Nice design
Delta99 7 Feb, 2016 @ 10:28am
Pretty cool design. I found though that it is very "back" heavy so once you load up just about any ore the front wheels lift off the ground. This is on a 0.90g planet. Also seemed to be incredibly difficult to drive around. Will have to mess around with it some more.

Anything that is not on the main grid (ie. pistons and beyond) will not show up when projected. This has been the way it is from day one of SE. Not sure why they don't fix that.
Coggernaut  [author] 27 Jan, 2016 @ 9:09am
Must have been an update that changed it. It worked in the past. Have you tried creative?
Torres 27 Jan, 2016 @ 5:25am
Yep the rear piston spawns fully deployed and the projecto says "multiple grids not supported, only the larges one will be shown" and it gives me half of it and the half rear is unbuildable and as I said it is shown with the piston seems to put the rear suspension up fully deployed in the blueprints.
Torres 27 Jan, 2016 @ 5:10am
it does the same for me :/ no wheels or drills, I'm giving a second try... btw I'm on survival.
Coggernaut  [author] 1 Jan, 2016 @ 6:25pm
Thanks for that Phantum!
FallenSunGaming 1 Jan, 2016 @ 5:08pm
Vanished, make sure your blueprint isn't clipping into the ground, I have no problems with it at all. (tested 30s ago)
Coggernaut  [author] 22 Dec, 2015 @ 12:15pm
It should all work... It's worked for a lot if people. You can always manually out wheels and drill on if worse comes to worse.
vanished001 22 Dec, 2015 @ 2:40am
Loaded this in today. No drills or back wheels are projected
FallenSunGaming 29 Nov, 2015 @ 1:54am
you're welcome :)
Coggernaut  [author] 29 Nov, 2015 @ 1:49am
Arti mass does nothing it was there for when there was no real gravity.

Also thank you for you're feed back! I'm glad people enjoy the design :)
FallenSunGaming 29 Nov, 2015 @ 1:37am
yeah, it's one of the better ones for most wheel based miners, the biggest problem right now is that wheels just suck :/ their traction is mediocre, and everything seems to be made of glass on planets, also not sure if the artificial mass's actually do anything

Coggernaut  [author] 29 Nov, 2015 @ 1:03am
oh man, I'm sorry! I'll update it with a connector! But I'm glad it's working!
FallenSunGaming 28 Nov, 2015 @ 11:18pm
I would recommend adding a connector, as well as out riggers, the experiences I had with it were quite good apart from trying to get it to sit still while mining, and not having a viable means of emptying cargo is a pain :P
Coggernaut  [author] 12 Nov, 2015 @ 9:09pm
Please notify me if there are any bugs and I will fix it! :)
Coggernaut  [author] 7 Nov, 2015 @ 7:35pm
There is a certain way to retract it. It must be retracted while at a slant. The drill must also be kept on. Then once the drill has been retracted, lower the vehical. After the vehical has un-verticalized you can turn off the drill.

Hopefully that helps things out!

Take a look at my other blueprints and mods :) I also have things on Medieval Engineers!
Stollie 7 Nov, 2015 @ 7:02am
Just tried this on Source Code planets v1.094, drill doesnt go very far into the ground considering the size of these things and when I retracted it, results were hilarious :P

Basically the drill pulled the buggy to it causing it to flip on it's head and explode lol
Digital Vanguard 31 Oct, 2015 @ 2:39am
I had a similiar idea but it had refineries on it so you could process stuff while mining. From the live stream survival will start on a planet and you are limited to solar power and batteries until you can find Uranium.
Coggernaut  [author] 9 Aug, 2015 @ 11:32am
Thanks!
VB Magellan 24 Jul, 2015 @ 11:09pm
cool mod 10/10 would install again!

@andrewkelsey Great minds think alike :P
Hans Jedermann 13 Jul, 2015 @ 8:07am
this is nice. i had a idea just like this with the vehicle and drill that points down at an angle
Coggernaut  [author] 9 Jul, 2015 @ 9:14am
@Delta 0DST Thanks! :D
Delta 0DST 9 Jul, 2015 @ 2:30am
the image where the drill is in the ground looks hilarious. :P
no offence or anything, but its just how the craft looks.
nice work on that craft though. :D:
Coggernaut  [author] 8 Jul, 2015 @ 2:16pm
@Eddy Thanks!
Eddy 8 Jul, 2015 @ 6:49am
cool
Coggernaut  [author] 7 Jul, 2015 @ 4:40pm
@DecimationStation No questions are dumb, ignorance is something we all have. Yet strive to overcome. Stuipedity is knowing the answer, but refusing to know it.
Girthquake 7 Jul, 2015 @ 4:37pm
Oh ok. Sorry for the dumb questions... And thanks again.
Coggernaut  [author] 7 Jul, 2015 @ 4:24pm
You need to attack mas blocks (1 per wheel) to it. This way gravity effects it
Girthquake 7 Jul, 2015 @ 3:53pm
Yeah I am using that planets surface world that has the gravity but the only way I know how to move it is with a tug ship. Im such a noob. X-X
Coggernaut  [author] 7 Jul, 2015 @ 2:29pm
Please rate this mod! :D
Coggernaut  [author] 7 Jul, 2015 @ 10:03am
@DecimationStation You need gravity and mass blocks. Or natural gravity.
Girthquake 7 Jul, 2015 @ 12:00am
Dumb question, but how do you drive this thing? I never used wheeled vehicles.
Coggernaut  [author] 6 Jul, 2015 @ 9:21pm
@Nukesnipe But a Drop Pod that starts mining? It would only be good for that one spot. I'ed need to to be able to move and then dril again. But the minerals would have to be close to the surface for the idea to work. I'll explore, but I'm working on releasing my TTC Dragonfly Colony Cruiser soon. And adventually, the TTC Skiragon. This ship is a Mobile Factory Frigate. It will create TTC Outposts and deploy them on planets. Aswell as manufacture fighters and possibly corvettes aswell. The Skiragon is will take a while to make. I'm planning to make most of my vessels nomadic, so they arnt bound to asteriods or planets.
Coggernaut  [author] 6 Jul, 2015 @ 9:17pm
@Nukesnipe, I have a Cargo Drop Pod, take a look in my TTC Collection. I'll be updating it!
Nukesnipe 6 Jul, 2015 @ 9:15pm
Have you thought about doing something, say, a pod that you can deploy from orbit, that lands and then immediately starts to drill? For prospecting, for instance, or for dropping straight onto resource heavy areas.
Coggernaut  [author] 6 Jul, 2015 @ 6:30pm
@pinna55 well, it's for Planet-scale mining :)
doofy 6 Jul, 2015 @ 10:26am
It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be
Coggernaut  [author] 5 Jul, 2015 @ 2:51pm
Oh yes!
Nukesnipe 5 Jul, 2015 @ 2:30pm
Thanks, that's what I thought, but the different skybox threw me off.
Can't wait for the actual planets update... so many ideas!
Coggernaut  [author] 5 Jul, 2015 @ 2:21pm
@nukesnipe I used Planetary Surface mod, you can find it under worlds tag.
Nukesnipe 5 Jul, 2015 @ 2:20pm
What world did you use for this?
Coggernaut  [author] 4 Jul, 2015 @ 9:48pm
@DecimationStation I wanted to build a vehical that didnt need to be a giant tower with a vertical drill... So why not a horizontal drill that angles? Like a mosquito :o

Your welcome :D
Girthquake 4 Jul, 2015 @ 9:46pm
This will prove useful wth the planets update coming out! Thanks mate. :)
Coggernaut  [author] 4 Jul, 2015 @ 6:30pm
Thanks :D
Matthew Spindler 4 Jul, 2015 @ 6:10pm
really neat looking
Coggernaut  [author] 3 Jul, 2015 @ 3:31pm
Thank you!
pandaling 3 Jul, 2015 @ 8:24am
this feals naughty. Nice job though!
