Description
The TTC have finally polished the prototype Planetary Miner, Mosquito. It has passed all safety tests and is finally ready for exploration and planetary mining. The design was inspired by the Mosquito, using it's long mouth to jab into the skin and extract blood. Mother nature being the best designer, we adapted that form. We used a piston to raise the back of the vehicle to give it the proper angle. Then the drill will extend into the ground extracting the resources needed. Knowing that not all planets are environmentally safe for humans we have included a self sufficient design. It comes with enough oxygen farms to make a surplus of oxygen so you may dock and unload resources with additionally created O2. Then for power it has 2 Solar Panels so you wont have to dump resources in this to power it up. We've included 4 Large Containers so you will be able to keep mining for a long time. But whenever trouble happens, use the antenna to communicate back to homebase that you are stranded or in danger. With this no mining mission will be difficult. You'll be able to mine longer than other competitors. Carries a maximum crew of 2, but only 1 driver is needed.

Nice design

Pretty cool design. I found though that it is very "back" heavy so once you load up just about any ore the front wheels lift off the ground. This is on a 0.90g planet. Also seemed to be incredibly difficult to drive around. Will have to mess around with it some more.

Anything that is not on the main grid (ie. pistons and beyond) will not show up when projected. This has been the way it is from day one of SE. Not sure why they don't fix that.

Must have been an update that changed it. It worked in the past. Have you tried creative?

Yep the rear piston spawns fully deployed and the projecto says "multiple grids not supported, only the larges one will be shown" and it gives me half of it and the half rear is unbuildable and as I said it is shown with the piston seems to put the rear suspension up fully deployed in the blueprints.

it does the same for me :/ no wheels or drills, I'm giving a second try... btw I'm on survival.

Thanks for that Phantum!

Vanished, make sure your blueprint isn't clipping into the ground, I have no problems with it at all. (tested 30s ago)

It should all work... It's worked for a lot if people. You can always manually out wheels and drill on if worse comes to worse.

Loaded this in today. No drills or back wheels are projected
