My citizens would occasionally starve to death, although admittedly not as often as another civ without any food would. Still, incredibly annoying having that constant drain on productivity and resources. Haven't seen anyone else complain about this so I have to assume it's a corrupted download or another mod interfering.

(Also, couldn't heal a warrior - but he'd only lost a bit of health and I don't know if there's a threshold where you can/cannot buy healing. Gonna assume it was working as intended, but I don't think I'll be playing with this mod enough to find out, either way.)

Kinda soured me on that save to be honest. It's a shame, it sounded right up my alley.

So I used Broken Lords while playing with the Enlightenment Era mod and when I reached the Information Era my gold yields on tiles reset to Ancient Era amount.
Anyway to fix that?

I took a look at the LUA file and it seems there's no code for puppet AI. When I tried puppeting cities in the game, after about 30 turns I notcied that the population still hasn't grown.

Is there any reasonable modification that could be made to work around this? Maybe somehow allow the player to purchase citizens in puppeted cities?

Am I the only one who noticed the gold from Civil Society not being applied?
Civil Society as the level 1 tenet from Freedom ideology; it says Broken Lords get +1 gold per specialist instead the food reduction

Yeah, I'm having the same problems as some other people. I can't heal units, even with plenty of gold, past a certain point. The first units that can't be healed for each line are:
-lancers for the anti-mounted line
-cavalry for the mounted line
-great war infantry for the infantry line
-ironclads for the melee ship line (possibly earlier than this, I didn't do much naval in my game)
-artilery for the artilery line (maybe cannons, mine never got damaged)

Any fixes coming soon? Love the mod when it works, by the way. I was searching for a mod that completely refreched civ, and here it is!

I can't heal my bomber. I think it is because a bomber has 0 moves by default and healing it costs 1 movement. I don't know if this would wwork but you add "flying units don't have to expend any movement to be healed" to the ua. I know nothing about modding. I just thought I'd point this out

My cities keep starving even tho in the screen it says they are not. Also this is only happening in my capital.

I've found that Riflemen, Destroyers, Landships, Infantry can't heal with gold. The button is there, but clicking it does nothing at all. Only other active mods is Communitas Map and Really Advanced Setup, which shouldn't affect?
Something to do with them being Industrial or beyond units perhaps?
If logging is needed like you asked of Invader Zak, could you direct me to something to explain how to enable logging and what specific bits you'd need? (And how to make the game give those bits in the logs)

It's where the food counter would normally be in the city view. Check the fifth screenshot for an example.

Loved playing as this race up until I discovered rifling. After rifling my units wouldn't heal properly. I'd have over 1000 gold and click the heal unit button but my units would never heal

Seems like it's mostly a bug in the base game with how it handles running out of promotions to use. Maybe try playing with that expanded promotions pack on the workshop?

I don't think I'll be doing any other EL civs; too many of them will be difficult if not really impossible to properly capture in Civ. And plus, I actually feel kind of scummy making Endless factions for Amplitude's primary competitor in the market in Firaxis.

Cool civ, had an issue that ruined one of my games though. Made a stalwart, upgraded it to rifleman and managed to get every promotion so all I was left with was heal instantly. Instead of using the heal instantly promo I killed a unit, healing to full off soul leech or whatever that's called and now it's at full hp but the game still thinks I have a promotion I haven't used so it won't let me end the turn, just "Promote a Unit"

As I understand, we don't have a way to extract EL's models. So the stalwarts here use a more generic Civ 5 ethnic unit model by danrell.

I absolutly love this mod, but I have 1 quick question;

I'm working on a EL style mod for a different game and was wondering if you had any models for stalwarts; I don't if u actualy used models from EL because if they are in the mod then I can't see them because of mod conflitions or something,

if you do have models is there any way of giveing them to me?

Bonuses from Desert Tiles may make some sense, but I feel it might make them a little too good.

I'm having an issue when playing as the Broken Lords: I managed to get enough currency to pay for a new citizen of my first city by way of a ruin, but when I clicked on the button to add more pop, nothing happened.

Do you think it's another mod causing interference, or just my computer?

Never played EL, this mod made me want to.

I usually like your mods, but this one is the most refreshing i've played with and the only time i played the same civ 3 games in a row.

I just feel sad that you dont get any bonuses from desert tiles :'(

The AI has some routines to let it figure out how to buy population and heal its units. They are not very complex routines, but you should not see the BLs trudging along with a 1 pop capital unless the Lua script fails to load.

Are you using a mod which replaces the DLL? This occured with another user: they were using an outdated version of DLL Various Mod Components which lacked features added by the last major patch.

I'm actually working out a similar civ, my plan to kinda force it in was just force growth to 0 and add buildings which increase pop by certain amounts. If that helps

What version of the game are you running? You can find this at the bottom of the screen when the main menu is up.

Great idea! i'm actually working for a similar civ (mechanical based), where buyable pop would be great, however it would also be great to be able to build pop using production, would you know how to do that

@Vice Virtuoso DX9, and its fullscreen by the way this is consistent it is everytime I play as the Civilzation, but if I am playing against it, its like any other civilzation which I have no problem with personally or maybe I am not obversvant enough to look at it either way I am fine with it. There was also a problem with the Lowee one too when it comes to the religion icon it becomes like a redish green square. I really didn't care too much since I don't really want to play them but fight against them. Nevertheless what is the problem with Broken Lords?

What resolution are you running the game in, and is it windowed or fullscreen? Also, if you're unable to heal units, is it consistent, or does it only occur sometimes?

This mod is probably pretty great but I can't seem to understand its mechanics. For example everytime I get a damaged unit I can't seem to heal it, even if the cost icon is right there to heal everytime I click on it doesn't work oh and the other problem is that my city bar is pushed up by the other icon of the cursed nation cost too. Usually I like your mods, but this one is... off maybe its due to using a laptop or something else I dunno whats wrong really.

yes. several unique civs. info addict, more lux and more pantheons.
i dont know how that happened, I played it before with the same mods, there that vision bug did not appear.
also, the interface is buggy no matter if I use enhanced user interface or not.

So based on the lua log, there don't seem to be any actual errors occuring, so there may be some sort of logic problem. Could you send me your save?

Interesting; in my tests, the AI BLs were pushovers much like they are in EL proper. I imagine it has a lot to do with how many Barbarian problems they have early game; if they don't have much to worry about on that front, they could potentially snowball.

In the city management screen i also get a bug since the newest version. (the healing seemed to work so far tough.) But the city bug makes it difficult or impossible to lock in specialists. Link to picture here:

The mod buttons do not work for me either. For both heal and city expansion I can see the tooltip when I put the mouse over them, but nothing happens when I click on them. The only mods I have are other civs and the 5 hexagon city limit extension. Tried reinstalling mods and playing around with resolutions, but seems looking at other comments that this mod is broken?

Not sure if it matters but the units I wanted to heal and did not work where: stalwarts and crossbows.

jup tooltip and button. everything there. just when i clicked on it it did not work anymore, even tough it definitely worked for scouts and warriors in the beginning of the game.
