could have to do with the fact that the front of the train is sticking out of the first grid square in asset editor. the default train starts within the first grid square.
The model looks fantastic, nearly indistiguishable from the real thing proportionally, which is quite impressive considering the relatively low poly count. Great work!

Not currently possible. However I'm working on a mod that will automagically replace the last car to an engine (configurable per train type). I already have the code for it but I need to work on the graphical interface before releasing it (very tedious).
