Description
My First Ever mod for a video game... EVER!

The Train is fully capable of being assigned colours based on whatever line it is on.
Stats are default passenger train stats, next update will have new stats.





Updates:

October 07 2015 - Updated for After Dark

August 18 2015 - Added pantographs to two cars. Illumination map added. Wheel re-textured. Hard-modded the last car to be a power car.

June 15 - Resized the train to make it a bit shorter. This should fix the "edge despawning" issues that some people were experiencing whereby the train was failing to disappear off the edge of the map and caused massive jams.

June 03 - BRAND NEW Model, This new model has only 1/3 of the polys compared to the old model, and such it should run a lot better on larger cities or on less powerful computers. Textures have also been improved to show sharper lines. I think I'm going to move onto another project now as I am quite happy with how this one turned out.

May 28 - Improved the texture resolution for both the driver's cab window and the "JR500 West Japan" Graphic on the side of the train. Next up will probably be a complete reskin of the windows and doors. Stay tuned.

Hey buddy, your model is doing very well. Can I convert it to GTA5? Because I want more people to see this wonderful work. Many people expect to see more Shinkansen trains in GTA5. I will mention the original author's name and will not be used for commercial purposes.

Hi, I think somehow this causing the game to crash... I keep getting "ImprovedPublicTransport: Unknown prefab: 450586233.JR500 Trainset_Data" before crash in the log...

Regarding Updates (liveries and After dark): I have some other stuff in my life to take care of right now, and am taking a break from modding. Expect updates in mid-october
