oh wow, sorry, i made this comment in a rush, i didn't realize how unhelpful i was being xD i hope i didnt come off as rude, because that's absolutely not what i meant, i love your mods!
however, when i used this one last time, the game crashed as soon as i spawned the dog, giving an error about a sound file missing i believe? i think i've heard something about the same error happening with the hound companion mod, but it got fixed, i'm not sure though.

im still using the hound companion mod, though i didn't get to try it out yet since i'm not playing too actively and i never got the items required together before. it's a shame this one's not working for me, though, because i love it a lot :(

I agree. Maybe you could put the collar on a hound, and they'd be the alpha of the hounds. If the alpha dies, the hounds flee.

Hi, I love this mod, only thing is when me and my friends are online (2 of us), when I walk past him, he instantly becomes thier leader. Then I have to walk near them and back to get them to follow me again, it would be great if you could set it to the player who places the collar is thier permanent leader. Thanks!

Craft a collar, drop it on the ground. Past that the hounds attack anything that attacks you or that you attack.

Considering sleeping is something mobs actually do in the game, it was a pretty shoddy metaphor to use, especially given the use of 'like' making it a simile. Anyhow, the hounds don't actively target things that are targetting you. To get them to attack you either have to hit something or have something hit you.

Well I updated the hound companion mod so that it's easier for them to wake up. You actually commented on the wrong mod, in this one the hounds don't sleep at all. :P

They should attack what attacks you, but if you're actively running from something the dogs will follow.

I am not currently working on a single player version of this mod. I may do that eventually for the hound companion mod, but that's currently in active development for DST and it would be twice the work to put it into DS and keep it updated constantly.

I didn't want Glommer goop since only one person can get Glommer, and whoever gets that would have a massive advantage as the only one who can spawn the hounds. I probably will switch it to something a bit harder to craft though, just teeth is kind of too easy.

Very nice for PvP, but could you add some sort of ingredient like you had in "Hound Companion" the Glommer item to here as well or make the recipe have configurable options in order to make the companion harder to craft?
