I have logged nearly 500 hours playing Skyrim, but this is the first mod I can recall commenting on. I say that so you know I'm serious... This is excellent. I stopped game play to come here to tell you just how much I am loving this music. The combat music just made my heart beat a little faster! Thank you! I am with you, Pringles, Ii's a game changer.

I cannot stand SE, even if its supposed to be more stable all my favorite mods arent compatiable with special edition, even if they were i dont wanna deal with bethesda's stupid mod store thingamajig, i will gladly download this mod and freshen up my original skyrim.

Is there anyway to make some songs on this track not play? I really like the dungeon crawl music and more somber tracks on this soundtrack but I'm not a fan of some of the louder bagpipe tracks.

Is there a standalone version of this mod, so that the vanilla soundtrack can still be heard from time to time?

Well, Skyrim SE is cool for new players.
But when u use Skyrim legendary ed. + HD textures pack + good mods, there is no need to upgrade Skyrim to SE : )

also nice to see people like you still caring about original Skyrim... Seriously even after a year I still havent got trought that whole Skyrim Special bs thing that broke the whole community into two. Expecting moders to move their stuff to the new Skyrim just so they can have more money, just nope, they should just release all 64bit and graphics things as update or hell even a DLC, but not this crap ...

Lets hope for new TES because geez 2011 is a long time ago and simply if there is nothing new to explore TES games are loosing its vibe

Well, this is just great.
I used the "atmospheric music" mod for a while, and i liked it, but i finally got tired of it.
These two mods together (Nordic + Lore friendly) are perfect.

this mod only replaces the vanilla soundtrack so if that other mod is only adding music and keeps old one my mod should be compatible

I mixed it with the "Lore friendly music" mod, so i don't know which part is from this nordic soundtrack, but the whole thing is just awesome. With these 2 soundracks and the HD textures + 40-50 mods, the elder scrolls V is still the best rpg this summer 2017.

Is it possible this mod and the original ost can coexist? I don't want to abandon the soundtrack.

Songs that are only in Dragonborn like those that are playing while traveling will be still the same... However I think combat music is same in all DLCs so that will change...

Hello for whatever reason the workshop does not want to download, i start the game it say checking subscribed mods.... than a few moments later it says finished synchronizing subscribed mods. but it does not download it. help?

How do you uninstall?

@D_Loaded: Oh and if he made a non-replacer? How would he possibly do it? Skyrim actually has a very limited OST in vanilla outside of major quests, most things are just ambience? where would he place it? In a spell tome?

@D_Loaded: Here's another solution, DON'T DOWNLOAD IT, read the F description, and don't shove, and you'll perhaps one day end up on top. also, three exclamation points is not necessary.

Any chance for a direct download possibility? Really like this music but there are too many reasons for not using the Workshop if someone wants to maintain the control over a stable game by oneself.
I'm used to examine the files before they go into my game. Something that prevented me from any CTD for almost two years despite using rdabout 220 mods.

Thank you. The original Skyrim music, even though great, always seemed a little too depressing in my opinion.
