This mod replaces Skyrim music that you were listening for countless hours with something new and fresh.



Unfortunately, there are not many music mods for Skyrim, mostly they are adding music that doesnt fit lore of Skyrim. This mod does it perfectly. Cold epic Nordic scores now will acompany you thruout Skyrim and make you experience once again exciting. About 3 hours of music that really fits the Skyrim universe.

This include replacement of all towns, tavers, exploration, combat... music.
Music will be still 100% dynamical as in vanilla so that means seamless transition between tracks, between combat and end combat music etc.

If you want hear what you getting just play video above (on top of the page). That is every song you will get. (NOTE: There is not order in tracks in that video, for example go to 40:50 to hear one of many combat track that will always play only during combat)
All music comes from video above. I am not (also as uploader of that video) author of this music. I would be happy to know song and authors names to give them credits.
Second video is my random gameplay that uses this mod and shows some of the songs.

Just hit the button for install. Hit it once again to uninstall or delete skyrimnordicsoundtrackoverhaul.bsp and .esp

*Do NOT forget to let Skyrim Launcher verify and update mod for first time*

***Manual install (without workshop or NMM) that works both for original Skyrim and SE ***
1. Download this https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzGCjTm8UicAbWlSQTAydC1PQkE/view?usp=sharing
2. Go to your Skyrim/SkyrimSE directory and place Music folder in Skyrim/Data folder
3. Thats all ! To uninstall just delete the files. This makes the mod work for both versions of Skyrim

I tried to run original .bsa like normal mod in SE but it wasnt compable with new Skyrim so this manual install is the only way how to make this mod run on new Skyrim. Also I am too lazy to make new .bsa version for SE because I dont wanna waste time with dealing with new Bethesda autistic mod shop (or whatever) so I am just leaving this here.
Now pls new Elders Scrolls Bethesda...

I have logged nearly 500 hours playing Skyrim, but this is the first mod I can recall commenting on. I say that so you know I'm serious... This is excellent. I stopped game play to come here to tell you just how much I am loving this music. The combat music just made my heart beat a little faster! Thank you! I cannot stand SE, even if its supposed to be more stable all my favorite mods arent compatiable with special edition, even if they were i dont wanna deal with bethesda's stupid mod store thingamajig, i will gladly download this mod and freshen up my original skyrim. :steamhappy:

Is there anyway to make some songs on this track not play? I really like the dungeon crawl music and more somber tracks on this soundtrack but I'm not a fan of some of the louder bagpipe tracks.
