Sorry, didn't see the comment until now. I don't have any of the old mod files. I would have to create it completly from scratch. Not planing to do that right now. Maybe if I have time in the future I might look into modding SE.

can we get se version on nexus ?
CNO Adm. Daryl Caudle 6 Dec, 2023 @ 9:00pm
Unfortunately, installing this causes Skyrim to crash right after the Bethesda logo script is done, preventing me from playing. Anyone know why that happens/how to fix?:steamsad:

I tested it. If you are not afraid of using the consol, you should be able to look up the perks id by tipping "help flow". Then you can find the "magic flow" perk. Then add the perk with "player.addperk #". # stand for the perk id. If it is not working, there could be some mod conflicts and then you just can chose which mod you want to use. Hope i could help.

Acording to the load order, one mod will overwrite the other mods skill tree. So if Ordinator changes the destruction tree, it would override mine. But if a mod change other skill trees, it should work. So you have to chose which destruction tree you want to have, if Ordinator change the destruction tree. And if i'm not wrong, you shoud be able to add my perk with the consol, i will test it.
Grant 24 Feb, 2021 @ 5:57pm
Does this mod have compatibility with other skill tree mods such as Ordinator?
Peachy  [author] 11 Feb, 2021 @ 3:28pm
Thank you for the comment. I'm glade people still like the mod
Apex Predator 11 Feb, 2021 @ 1:22pm
I just started a new play-through with this mod. Just to be sure, I did two tests to verify it works. I tested it as the first mod in the 3rd party mod list and I tested it as the last mod in the 3rd party mod list. It works in either position. I have more than a dozen other mods, but I don't think I have any custom clothing mods.

This is the only mod you need to fix the vanilla magic system. The problem with Skyrim's magic is that it tops out with very under-powered spells that make playing a mage impractical. You can drive the cost of casting down to zero with enchanting, but the DPS of the spells is still just too low for end-game. This mod solves the problem perfectly by leveling up your destructive power.
Suckeychicken 17 Dec, 2019 @ 11:18am
bit of advice for people having issue with clothing mods, this mod checks to see if an item is tagged as clothing, if the mod author didnt bother to tag it as clothing then it wont detect it
Miscor 19 Oct, 2019 @ 6:29am
It seems not working for me. Spells tooltip doesnt change and despiting this i dont feel any additional power, same amout of spell required to kill same enemy. Should there be any tracker of additional %spellpower ?
Cuddles 22 Sep, 2018 @ 6:43am
yeah sorry, It was fine before when I had to manually keep pushing the mod to the bottom of the load order when skyrim was checking if mods are up-to-date but I got tired of having to do that all the time so I just went on NMM and on there your mod was just called "destruction" thats all so I made sure that was your mod and then set it all the way to the bottom so then I wouldn't have to do it anymore, but after I did that, a number of custom clothing became invisible like broken meshes when all of them were absolutely fine so i have no idea how the hell a mod to do with magicka would affect a number of clothes mods.
Peachy  [author] 22 Sep, 2018 @ 1:08am
That is strange. I use this mod with custom clothes and it works well and i can't imagine why you have this issuses, because the mod just changes the destruction tree. So it just shoud not work with mods, which do the same thing. Even if i would try to fix your problem, I don't even now what to change. But thanks for your comment.
Cuddles 21 Sep, 2018 @ 3:39pm
Ok I'm back and I know its been a long time since I commented on this mod but just to let you know this mod causes a bunch of issues with clothing going invisible and yes before you say it I've set it as the last one in the load order or in any order in fact, it will make a bunch of custom clothes go invisible making this mod very unlikely to be used.

Sorry I know this mod is probably something you don't care about anymore so you don't have to do anything, just thought i'll give you a heads up.
Peachy  [author] 29 Mar, 2018 @ 8:29am
No problem, im glade that i could help you :)
Peachy  [author] 29 Mar, 2018 @ 6:31am
Hm, that sounds strange. Maybe you could change your magicka with console back to standart and than change it back to what you had it befor. Dont realy know why that bug should happen.
player.setav magicka 100
player.setav magicka 2000
I hope it helps you.
Cuddles 28 Mar, 2018 @ 10:07am
this mod seems to keep resetting itself whenever i installed new mods. The mod works and all but it keep resetting like i only just started the game, I have 2000 mana to increase my destruction power and just today i added some clothing mods, I always make sure this mod is loaded last and is working but it seems like the increased damage keeps going back to default every time and is literally time wasting using all those level up on magicka only for the mod to reset itself randomly.
Peachy  [author] 17 Feb, 2018 @ 4:01am
Thanks :)
Apex Predator 16 Feb, 2018 @ 11:47pm
This is what Skyrim needs and all it needs to make magic useful. And the options to choose 10, 20 or 30 per cent by choosing one of the alternatives on nexusmods makes it perfect. Good job!
freedomzealotsgb 18 Sep, 2017 @ 2:03pm
Ive been hoping for this mod or patch since I first started playing Skyrim, as all previous Elder Scrolls allowed you to create your own spells and dictate its power. Thank you very much.
Peachy  [author] 1 Apr, 2017 @ 5:43am
Thanks for the kind words. I am always happy when someone likes my mod.
TheTacticalGamer 31 Mar, 2017 @ 7:43pm
-GucciGatana- I can confirm that placing this mod at the bottom of the load order does get it to work; I was having the same problem. So for anyone that uses this mod and it doesn't work, just set it at the bottom and you'll be golden.

I also highly recommend this mod for anyone wanting to play mage; over a lot of the other mods that add spells or change the vanilla ones. It's scaling system works a lot better than others and I haven't encountered the problem of instant magicka drain that I've experienced with a lot of other magic mods.

With this mod's mechanic focused around your base magicka, building a mage is both functional and satisfying. Even when you pump all your levels into magicka, these stay true because you become the definition of a glass cannon: you can't take a hit, but you unleash annihilation.
Peachy  [author] 14 Feb, 2017 @ 5:09am
You could increase base magicka with "player.setav magicka X" in the console and look if something happen and then just dont save the change.
Peachy  [author] 14 Feb, 2017 @ 5:06am
I assume you have all DLCs. The only thing you could try is puting my mod as the last in the load order. Maybe that would fix it. And are you sure you have 150 base magicka and not 140 + a buff or something, try to increase base magicka to 200.

And did you create a new character with the mod or did you use an old one (maybe this could make some problems)?

And do you use ohter mods, which change destruction tree or destruction spells or something?
QuesoZilla 13 Feb, 2017 @ 2:44pm
Hopefully you can help me out. I have installed the mod, got the perk, and the magic damage isn't increasing the damage on my magic page or listed as an effect. I have 150 base magicka, 230 magicka total, and it doesn't appear to change. Everything else works, but the damage doesn't seem to increase.
Peachy  [author] 13 Feb, 2017 @ 12:24pm
And if you set difficluty to master or legendary, it will almost be hard enought to win every battle.
Peachy  [author] 13 Feb, 2017 @ 12:18pm
And i dont think the mod is op. I had a mage too and I just increased Magicka. In the most cases I did a lot of damage, but because of the leak in HP I died realy fast. Thats what the mod was suposed to do. I thought a mage should deal a lot of damage, but in the ohter hand he/she should die fast. My mage dies from one hit in the most cases.
I just didnt like to be a mage with full heavy armor set, who dont do damage and just tank a lot of damage.
Also The damage growth is falling, with every 50 Magicka. If your spell does 100 dmg and your perk gives you a +300% buff, you will deal 400 dmg. Another 50 Magcika and your Spell will deal 430 dmg and thats just 7.5% more then befor. So its just realy strong in early game, also because of the fast level ups at the beginning. But at that time you dont have a lot of great spells, so I think it is balanced.

But to each his own.
Peachy  [author] 13 Feb, 2017 @ 11:56am
If you want the mod with less percentage, download it from nexusmods.com , link in the description. I uploaded 10%, 20% and 30% so you can chose.
QuesoZilla 13 Feb, 2017 @ 8:47am
Do any of you guys find this to be a little over powered? I do like the idea of near unlimited damage potential. Since melee/ranged can utilize tempering and damage increasing enchantments on the weapons and armor, they can be incredibly strong. Unmoded magic has a damage threshold (so it can feel lackluster far end game). But doesn't 30% seem a bit much? It only takes 15 levels (30 if you split 50/50 health/magicka) to do escentially 100% extra damage. I have subbed this mod a while back on an old mage character, but I don't know how it felt. What do you guys think? Overpowered? Somewhat balance?
Peachy  [author] 21 Dec, 2016 @ 5:45pm
No npcs will not be stronger with this mod.
Yatagarasu 21 Dec, 2016 @ 5:06pm
Does this mod affect NPCs as well? Like do they also scale with level?
ActuallySkeletor 31 Oct, 2016 @ 12:32am
Will you be updating this mod for the Special Edition?
frznghost 4 Sep, 2016 @ 7:46pm
I love this mod. Love it.
jdm311 11 Aug, 2016 @ 11:26am
This is a really cool idea.
Peachy  [author] 10 Jul, 2016 @ 6:27am
That is strange, it should work, I think.
Robopope, the Robot Pope 9 Jul, 2016 @ 1:16am
I have this one and another scaled one and neither work with the wall spells
Boblesopp 12 Jun, 2016 @ 7:24am
is it compatible with ordinator?
Peachy  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 1:48pm
Thanks, you too
KampfTomate007 8 May, 2016 @ 4:45am
Yeah nevermind forget what i wrote before cuz i just deleted the few non-working mods and re-subscribed and increased enchanting limit worked again and ur mod aswell... i guess skyrim was drunk again :D enjoy the day! :)
KampfTomate007 8 May, 2016 @ 4:19am
Hmm... i dont know why but it looks like this mod isnt working anymore for me. I have many mods installed some months ago including this one and it just worked fine but since i started skyrim a few days ago again it looks like it dont work anymore because it doesnt show up the perks anymore.. any suggestion?
IIIVIIIedved 2 May, 2016 @ 10:44am
Buddy, u are the man, thx a lot
TribalSouljah 20 Mar, 2016 @ 7:20pm
So I posted this on the "no DLC" mod instead of this one...

I cannot seem to get the bonuses to work. I see the perk and have a skill point in it, but I do not receive a damage bonus. I've tried with and without SKSE. I've also added some magicka through PC console codes (kept running out with expert spells), would it recognize the added bonus magicka?
Calm Sociopath 19 Mar, 2016 @ 9:41am
It seems that Vampiric drain is not affected by any perk in the skill tree... oh well, would have been too op anyways :(
Peachy  [author] 18 Mar, 2016 @ 4:48am
Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
Calm Sociopath 18 Mar, 2016 @ 3:52am
Cheers! If I run into any problems I will notify you. Good job on the mod!
Peachy  [author] 18 Mar, 2016 @ 1:20am
Vampiric drain is a Novice-level Destruction spell, so it should work with my mod and with all Destruction Perks.
Calm Sociopath 17 Mar, 2016 @ 10:58am
Managed to fix it! Just one more question... Is the Vampiric drain affected by the perk as well?
Moshruum 13 Mar, 2016 @ 2:11pm
Doesnt work with Ordinator - perks of skyrim...
Peachy  [author] 13 Mar, 2016 @ 6:56am
Yes, the damage shown in the description should increase.
Calm Sociopath 12 Mar, 2016 @ 2:08pm
A quick question: Is the damage modified displayed in the spell description? Cuz it keeps saying that my spark spell does 8 damage regardless of how much I upped my magicka
