Any chance you could make a TTT version of this? I have a Spyro themed TTT server and since there's currently no TTT spyro maps, we use a random map for the starting point.

I'm trying to do a similar map to yours but from the game MediEvil however the map textures are multiple png format images that connect to the obj in a mtl, if you solved this problem I would appreciate some pointers.

I extracted the model from the map and compared it to a non-scaled model. Try a scale of 1.192.

Do you remember the scale you applied to this map? I mean, after you imported the .obj file in 3ds max, blender or whatever modelling program you used.

It's full size. You can see it being used in the last screenshot. The map was made using a single model, so that's why It's also usable as a prop.

The world viewer shows a bounding box for each level. I used that as a guide when carefully taking screenshots of the skies. I edited the screenshots to create the skybox.

Hi, I was just wondering... how did you extract the skyboxes? I know how to extract the maps and textures, but the skyboxes are vertex-lit, what programs did you use to import/export those?

@Xiron As far as I remember, the model always compiled. If the map had too many sperate shapes making up the collision though, during compiling all of the shapes would be combined into one large convex shape that surrounded the map, which was bad. Pretty much, just trial and error with testing. I just kept optimizing the collision models, opting for less accurate collision in some places, and combining sperate shapes into one if I could. Because this was a PS1 game, the models aren't too complex, so it was possible to pull off. There's a command to show the collision as a wireframe. "vcollide_wireframe 1" Use the command if you want to see what it looks like.

As someone who has tried to make a map out of props before (and have actually released one small one), how'd you manage to make a full working map with full collisions while only using a single prop and having not ran into an issue of the model being too big to compile?
