Can anyone verify if this script is still working? I cannot seem to get it to work in my game.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 26 sep, 2024 @ 13:31
Hopefully, I really should've updated it to trigger by itself XD regardless still works.
Merlin 25 sep, 2024 @ 23:35
A decade later and the script still works perfectly.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 10 maj, 2024 @ 17:28
@YCMKNDY90 No clue haven't played for a long time, since May 11th 2022 XD
L5sumu 10 maj, 2024 @ 17:02
Isn't the Automatons timer block compatible?
Marcusinfestus 21 okt, 2023 @ 18:55
I get it. Too bad really. This mod makes so many things possible!
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 17 okt, 2023 @ 3:38
@Marcusinfestus I perfectly understand why KEEN wouldn't do that.

The game is not optimized for having tons of timers running and being triggered at tick rate. It never will be.
Marcusinfestus 14 okt, 2023 @ 10:21
I wish KEEN would just make this a thing; 1 sec just isn't tight enough.
Reverie Lightmare 14 okt, 2023 @ 5:25
This isn't working for me either unfortunately.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 4 okt, 2023 @ 0:06
It should, nothing has really changed.
TH3 L00S3 C@NN0N 3 okt, 2023 @ 13:10
Is this script still working? I am trying to set it up to drop bombs .25 seconds apart. I have the timers with Adv at the end at set 25 seconds (ticks) apart but it’s still going by seconds
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 16 apr, 2023 @ 0:21
Thanks, I built it specifically to be as performant as possible
StuntPuppy 15 apr, 2023 @ 16:10
Love this script, use it all the time, it's still quite functional. The most basic and yet most useful script if you want to do anything with precision timing. Personally I update it to not need a timer block trigger.
Fweggigun 10 dec, 2022 @ 17:53
Does not show up in my list...
Dova Dude 29 okt, 2022 @ 18:53
Can you test it on your end?
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 29 okt, 2022 @ 1:27
Then it might finally be broken, but I doubt that. The code is so simple that it shouldn't.
Dova Dude 28 okt, 2022 @ 8:55
I hope I did, that would make the problem easier to solve, but I followed that video *exactly*
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 28 okt, 2022 @ 2:02
Then you did something wrong
Dova Dude 27 okt, 2022 @ 16:53
It's all activating instantly for me, whether set to minimum time, maximum time, or anywhere in between.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 26 aug, 2022 @ 0:02
@Night Stalker, it is 60 ticks per second.
Night Wing 25 aug, 2022 @ 15:21
plus you got it wrong its 60 ticks per minute
not second
Night Wing 25 aug, 2022 @ 15:20
negative @Cosmonautical_Alex the timer does not do anything between the ticks it only works at each tick
Cosmonautical_Alex 25 aug, 2022 @ 12:06
So I can add decimals to the timer delay, will that actually do anything? If there are 60 ticks in a second can I trigger stuff between two ticks instead of at the tick?
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 26 jan, 2022 @ 2:22
Check example. Nothing significant (in terms of what this script does) has changed. I haven't even added the auto run part of scripting yet, so you need to manually run it with a timer.
ZiomekBBT 25 jan, 2022 @ 11:31
I added Adv at the end and nothing change. Maybe its broken?
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 27 okt, 2021 @ 7:14
It should theoretically never break. Subscribe to the example.
rme0108 27 okt, 2021 @ 4:14
Is this script still working att? I can't seem to get it working at all.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 19 aug, 2021 @ 10:28
I should sit down one of these days and make the script auto trigger itself.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 12 aug, 2021 @ 6:29
xD Heh :)
M200Chan 12 aug, 2021 @ 5:47
Ah, my apologies. It was user error - I accidentally removed the timer block that triggered the programmable block during construction. The script works as intended.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 12 aug, 2021 @ 1:29
It should still be working. Does the example world I made work?
M200Chan 11 aug, 2021 @ 17:48
Can someone confirm if this is still working? I'm trying to get precise timers for my catapult, but the script isn't registering the blocks.

What I've done:
Named the timers "Firing Stage 1 Adv" (no quotes), "Firing Stage 2 Adv" etc.
They all chain to each other - this was tested without the script and works.
They all have a time of 60 (1 second).
I've recompiled the script after naming each timer.
I triggered "Firing Stage 1 Adv" (result below).
I stopped all timers, and started (didn't trigger) "Firing Stage 1 Adv" (same result).
I set the delay of each item to one second and triggered the timer again (see second result below)

When I execute the first timer (using Trigger Now, though the others are just linked with Start) and the timers are configured to chain with sixty-second intervals (before the script's intervention), the timers execute with a sixty-second delay, as opposed to a one-second delay.

When I repeat with a one-second timer, the sequence executes as normal.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 15 jul, 2021 @ 1:41
Doesn't matter
LSG123 14 jul, 2021 @ 16:47
ayo do you run with default agument or somat else?
Mercair 16 apr, 2021 @ 21:59
@Keko the weeb one Maybe try Whip's Salvo script? much easier way to do what you're trying to. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1221921128&searchtext=salvo
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 31 mar, 2021 @ 9:00
You could try rephrasing it? :)
Keko the weeb one 31 mar, 2021 @ 8:01
im sorry

SioxerNikita  [skapare] 30 mar, 2021 @ 22:57
Frankly, I don't understand what you mean.
Keko the weeb one 30 mar, 2021 @ 19:10
im sorry if this question bothers im trying to get a raction chain going for some rocket launchers.what i mean is i trigger the timer wich triggers rocket launcher 1 and the next timer for rocket launcher b and so on im not able to get it going, it starts repeting itself even without a comand and also starts the timer in real full scnds.
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 15 mar, 2020 @ 7:30
Be free to add it, but I haven't really played Space Engineers in quite a while.
Const 15 mar, 2020 @ 6:05
hi! can i request an addition to the script to include the repeat line so as to no longer have a need for an external timer block to run itself? thanks!
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 6 nov, 2019 @ 10:12
Add me to friends, I'll help you when I have time.
Zoivac 5 nov, 2019 @ 12:29
Me too, ive done all in the instructions but it doesnt work, i dont know why... 😕
Celestite 13 jul, 2019 @ 14:55
@SioxerNikita i believe the script is broken, i followed the instruction thoroughly and it doesnt work
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 28 feb, 2019 @ 23:04
You'd have to ask Keen about that. It is a very very light scripts, so shouldn't have this problem. It only checks the entire grid for new "Adv" blocks every 10 seconds or so.
Raelsmar 28 feb, 2019 @ 20:48
In the release update, running this script seems to cause about a 25% drop in sim speed. Increases to normal if the programmable block running the script is turned off. Any reason why this would happen on this update but not in the 1.188 (previous) update?
CTH2004 25 feb, 2019 @ 15:55
Ok!

Glad to hear it!
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 24 feb, 2019 @ 23:51
I don't know.I guess depends. I definitely check up on whether it is broken.
CTH2004 24 feb, 2019 @ 20:17
You should have a collection for your scripts. Right now it isn’t very many, but eventually...

Also, if an updade broke this script, you would fix it, right?
SioxerNikita  [skapare] 11 feb, 2019 @ 9:21
No prob
