no, this is just a simple primative with a texture. to make them use the spot you will need to use a vanilla object found in the asset editor which designates an area for the game vehicles to park in.

Does the AI use these parking spots? tired of them driving through my military base to park

I was about to tell you of the clipping issue, the markings only partially, but it seems you already know about it. Perhaps look how to make it follow terrain?

Hey soldyne! Love your work. Would you consider making directional arrows/road markings to make more detailed parking lots? :)

The error should be fixed now. please let me know if you see any difference.

thanks. I was able to update the textures with no problems. now to figure out the clipping issue...

Great work :) To update, u have to subscribe to them urself. Then u will get the "Update" option in the assets panel in-game.

you are right about the file size. I was using 1024 for my early props (including this one). I have now started using 512. I just released 7 new ones at the 512 size and the file size was reduced by about 1MB on average.

If I can figure out how to update without deleting and reposting, I will try to update the textures on these early ones.

I'm happy that u care :) I don't think jpg or png matter much. I believe the game repacks the images in it's own format of choice. So I would go for png as u did. Looking at the closeup image u have, I would guess it's the image size. But I can only guess.
PS. We are all learning ;)

well, i'm still learning the process and experimenting with things. it could be that I am using both a _d and _a for this texture so two files is twice the memory or perhaps I uploaded .png instead of .jpg for this one. I understand that with so many props file size is important so I will endeadvor to keep a closer eye on that going forward.

I am wondering... why is the file-size so big? It's twice the size of one of my trees. I wonder if u maybe have overdone the texture quality. It's only a prop after all :) Good initiative though.
