Seems Mad MaX's comment is a copy&pasted comment on every older mod, accusing old mods of crashes without any at all evidence. Mister Mad maX, if you have no factual knowledge or understanding, do not make baseless claims just because something is old. There is no "consensus" on Reddit. Makes you look like a fool.

Another request to please update. I really like this mod...but there seems to be a growing consensus (on Reddit) that this mod is causing random crashes, which I've been experiencing since the Signals update.

Anyone else having a problem with the skin not rendering for this, now? Worked fine forever but loaded a saved game and I guess an update may be required? Again, love the mod, supper convenient.

I really like the look and function of this mod. I would like it more if it only required 1 medical component. This is because, as it stands, I have little reason not to grind it off and build a Survival Kit at the first opportunity if it is on a small survival rover (aside from space) and the SK has so much more functionality. I would say 2 components if it also refilled gasses. I want a small medical unit like this, but that many medical components makes it difficult. Not that any other small medical unit I have found is better in that regard, and they are less attractive models or lacking in a unique look - this one is so much nicer in that regard.

All I wanted for Christmas was a "refill energy" station for my engineering floors; Medbay is upstairs, naturally - away from the explosions - O2 and H2 are handled via tanks which refill near instantly via my parts moving system, but needing to leave a ship running to re-energise myself is undesirable. Thank you!

Also Subbing to a bunch of your Mods, very impressed by the seemingly functional nature of them several years after your last update - I look forward to so many of these!

They do not charge H2/O2 because these things can't be hooked up to the convayer system.
But then again, just use a cockpit and that should hopefully solve that problem.

FYI these do indeed still work; They will not Charge H2/O2, but they do recharge health/power

Hey, great mod! I don't suppose you can create a version that has a conveyor connection on the back for O2/H2, like the pipes have in the decoration pack?

@Veidebreij no, it only heals, gives energy, and acts as a respawn point. You'll have to find another mod to get oxygen/hydrogen from a small medical station

This is a great mod. People seem to misunderstand their best use. In multiplayer you can easily lose your small ship do to a crash or server reset. This allows you to spawn at it which you need in those stuations.

I'd prefer that it stay as a place to spawn. I need a spawnpoint for my ship and medbays are too bulky to fit in. This is far more convenient.

Everybody seems in agreement (from the comments) that this would be a LOT better if it didn't show up as a main respawn bay; other details aside i would love to see Eikaster revive this old mod with some new code :p

Would love to see a version of this mod that has the following differences:

--- Use less energy than vanilla medbays.
--- Heals significantly slower.
--- Cannot be used to respawn.
--- Cannot be used to restore oxygen.

Could call it "lite" version or something. That be great!

Agreed. Love the mod, but I think not being able to respawn is a fair trade-off for the smaller size.

I love the idea and the concept you have proceeded with on this mod.

I disagree that it should be used as a Respawn Zone though.

I feel this should Regenerate Health, and Power to your Suit.

and have a second one that has to be connected to Oxygen Generator OR Oxygen Tank & Hydrogen Tank.
to Refill those, but they should be seperated.

@Omar, This is probably an issue with teh Nanite factory.. Firstly, before welding to the "hacked" point, you will not have any ownership regardless. If you get ownership when you weld it, but don't when the nanites weld it, that is most likely an issue with the nanite mod, not this one.

i have noticed a bug maybe that placing the medical station it will be in nobody ownership , it will change to my ownership only if i weld it . the problem if the nanite weld it , it will stay on nobody .

Cool mod, but the respawn ability is the killer here, as I feel it unbalances things too much. I'd like to see this unit do Health and energy only, then have another unit that does oxygen and hydrogen only, and need to be connected to the conveyor network.

Contrary to what people are saying below I do not think you should add gas refill to these, otherwise there would be no balance to the size of med bays.

Instead, I think you should either disable spawning to these and only let them heal you and provide energy, or add an option to disable spawning, as having many of these strategically placed at a large base/station can quickly clutter up your spawn menu.

I'd really like this to be able to refill my hydrogen and oxygen, and i do agree with Pettersonys idea of making two verisons for it.

@Pettersony I completely agree! Have 2 or a setting to change the gas refill. It's just way too OP to have this tiny one do it all. I like it more as a "OH SH*T!" button or just for respawns

I really love the idea of heaving small emergency medbay that doesn't compleetely kill the need for the big one :steamhappy: . Please, if you ever make it to refill oxygen/hydrogen (as many people ask), leave here on the workshop separated version that doesn't allow that. Maybe there could be separated gas refiller. I also think that you shouldn't be allowed to spawn at that small medbay.
