Timboh's Clovermill Interchange

This is my favorite of your four-way highway interchanges. I find that it helps traffic flow to have the two separate entrance ramps rather than one pooled entrance ramp (at least in Cities Skylines); that's a feature unique to this interchange.

@centauri - Every traffic guide I've seen links Timboh's intersections. They're the only mods I've downloaded. Not that suspicious.

I find mod creators creations marvelous.
There is "engineering" in "civil engineering" for a reason.

Good lord, it seems that stupid people really enjoy commenting on this.
Centauri 15 Jan, 2016 @ 2:16pm
Mate - how come you have the top 20 spots? That's really suspicious.

@Liqa Madiq
One that understands how god damn difficult it is to manage traffic in this game.

@Lida Madiq - F*ck you.

nice highway intersection!

I don't know, maybe all the top rated items are interchanges because one of the main aspects of the game is traffic.
Archie 25 Dec, 2015 @ 7:46am
@Liqa Madiq right? thats fucked up.
xDemon King Kevinx 20 Dec, 2015 @ 12:57pm
What kind of autistic community is this where every top rated mod is a fucking highway intersection?
Zorbi32 22 May, 2015 @ 5:44pm
@timboh plz how have you do it with your old assets ?
Kazumi 20 May, 2015 @ 12:58pm
Sure thanks for your effort. Looking forward for that update ;D
Timboh  [author] 20 May, 2015 @ 12:50pm
@Kazumi: I'm working on it right now, actually! Keep in mind though, that it will take a while until all my assets are fully updated with thumbnails, tooltip images, etc. I promise I will update all my assets when I've got the time, which unfortunately won't be very often, since I'm quite busy the weeks before the summer holidays.
Kazumi 20 May, 2015 @ 12:31pm
Can you make a snapshot and tooltip for each of your intersection? All of them look great but kinda hard to find what I exactly want. Thanks

Thou doest great road-way! And you did not study for an hour designer roads?

Is it possible to elevate any interchange assets without rebuilding the whole thing?
[SpecterWarrior] 31 Mar, 2015 @ 8:10am
there is no icon preview on the road panel in game. Only white blocks. How can i fix it?
27 Mar, 2015 @ 5:11pm
@Timboh Hi there, I don't own the game, but here's a nice delight for you to make. Suggestions include: add 5-7 level stack interchanges, widen freeways up to 30 total lanes, create a tool to lower a freeway (put roads over the freeway while the freeway runs depressed), add tunnels, and for the best thing ever: TEXAS INTERCHANGES. The best stuff on earth.
Vinciere 26 Mar, 2015 @ 6:44pm
TImboh, you are a genius. :pizzaslice: Cheers!

@daankrijnen: I already do make most of my ramps 2-4 tiles longer than required, which is why my interchanges are quite large. I appreciate your feedback, though, and I'll definately keep this in mind more often! Thanks! :)

Al lot of your assets do have the same problem: a lot too steep messages. IS this a sloution?

@Timboh wow thanks for quick answer mate.
keep up the good work with building interesections!

@[RAW] Movvy.BE: The simple explanation is: weaving is your worst nightmare, and should be avoided at all cost!

My explanation is: Weaving is a situation which often occurs where an entry ramp is to close to an exit ramp, where almost all traffic have to change lane in order to reach their destination. This is undesirable both in-game and real life, since it greatly reduces capacity.

The long answer... Well, Wikipedia got you covered ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grade_separation#Weaving
Movvy 19 Mar, 2015 @ 12:58pm
what does no weaving means?
Gecko 19 Mar, 2015 @ 9:31am
wow.. now you're just showing off :) Awesome design..
deX 18 Mar, 2015 @ 2:09pm
Top!
Timboh  [author] 17 Mar, 2015 @ 9:59am
@UncleP: Almost every design are real world designs, either based on concepts or ones actually in use. I do of course use some artistic freedom, since I'm often limited by what the game actually allow you to do, geometricly speaking. The Pentagon Interchange is entirely my own design.
PVT.Calpha 17 Mar, 2015 @ 9:33am
Tell me, are your designs inspired/based on existing designs in the real world or are they wholly unique?
FullAuto 17 Mar, 2015 @ 9:20am
That's is beautiful man.

This is called a Cloverstack.

"Cloverstack interchanges are hybrid interchanges, using loop ramps like cloverleaves to serve slower or less occupied traffic flow and flyover ramps like stack interchanges to serve faster and higher occupied traffic flow. If local and express ways serving the same directions and each roadway is connected righthand to the interchange, extra ramps are installed.

The cloverstack design is commonly used to upgrade cloverleaf interchanges to increase their capacity and eliminate weaving."

BTW, Good work.
