Same happened to me. I subscribed to the mod and when I went into the game after restarting it, the mod is not there.

Use Game Anarchy instead. Setup maximise land value and other needs and the normal game calculation will create natural more demand.

I suggest using Infinite Demand as a replacement. It does the same thing, but has the option of turning it on/off in-game.

The mod has stopped working for me now. Buildlings get built when no one moves into them and this only happened once I reached a population of around 885k

I've read comments, "it doesn't work" but i saw 125k use it, why shouldn't it work? I gave it a try and of course it works for me. Love those useless "it doesn't work" comments that say nothing more and give no further facts. Maybe you should clean up your mess of mods and assets. Before you confuse other people with your comment :D
