Not sure why you assume people know what to do with uncooked files, google doesn't tell a singular thing.

Sorry, I am not supporting this version anymore but have released a version for Shadowrun: Hong Kong on the nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/shadowrunhongkong/mods/29

It is much easier to install! It can probably be adapted for Dragonfall, I have included the uncooked files.

Can you made this for main campaign easier to install?

I did everything you told me but when i'm about to add the equipment sheets it won't show.

I'm planning on redoing this for Hong Kong and will make it easier to install then! Thankfully, most of what I've already done should still work, but that auto-load cyber is gonna be an adept power for sure!

I like this a lot. I'd really love if you made a version of this that will auto-add the files to both campaigns though rather than making us do it manually. At least try? <3

Apologies in advance for the comment spam chrieggroll (I already posted this on the nexusforums but then I thought you haven't been active on there for a while so maybe I need to try steam?)

I opened up dragonfall extended's in the editor, altered dependencies to include gun adept at a lower level on the list. Then I opened up haven and a3 haven. In each scene I opened up Aljernon under actors and added adept_tier1/2/3 as needed to his equipment list. Following all that I published the content locally (got the successfully published prompt) and then booted up Dragonfall through my steam client. Basically it stops loading after a few minutes and tips keep cycling. I waited ~4 hours so far and no dice. Would you know what I am doing wrong?

okay, im not good at this stuff, but i followed your directions, and when i loaded up the game, i got a black screen (as tho i am missing a dependency or something)... any idea what im doing wrong, cause i'd really like to try this out =D

Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to explain this.

To install, open the this content pack in the editor, then open dragonfall extended content pack in the editor.
Add way of the gun adept as a dependency.
Now you can either open a scene and add the equipment sheets to existing vendors (Haven scene, the Aljernon vendors) or create a new character and add the equipment sheets there.
That's the safest way to do it. An unsafe way would be to copy all the files into the Berlin content pack, then open the dragonfall extended content pack in the editor and add the equipment sheets to vendors.
I wish there were an easier way, but for data ugc there's not. The game won't know the files are there until you do the above!

How do I go about to adding these spells to the campaigns? I doubt simply "Subscribing" will be enough.

Nice, I must say in the P&P I never played a Melee/Unarmed Adpet at all. I mostly go for Social or Ranged adepts. (even had a driver-Adept at one point, missing out on high level riging ofc but meh)....because I dislike using Cyberware for most character builds.

So this arbitrary limitation reduced the games enjoyment for me, let's see how this mod pans out ;)-

An interesting mod; the lack of ranged adepts is a curious oversight, especially given that the description for adept talks up their ranged combat skills.

Gunslinger Adept is my favoirte character type. I will have to give this mod a shot.
jinko 9 Feb, 2015 @ 7:08am
should add throwing adept powers to this as well as a haste (2-4 ap for 3-6 turns) but i like the way ya think
chriseggroll  [author] 8 Feb, 2015 @ 10:02am
Well, the pnp never limited phys adepts to being melee only, and I'm not sure why they decided to in SRR. Gunslinger Adept is a pretty common build I'd say, and most of the stuff I added I tried to model after 3rd edition powers.

I am amused at this kind of mod as well as interested in it. While it arguably spits in the face of what Adepts are supposed to do, which is being a melee ass-kicking badass, such posssible paths should be encouraged on how a person wants to play the game.
