Glad they finally got rid of that and that you're enjoying them :)

Another great run thanks. All my favourites, track and Engine. thanks for another ripper. Just doing some oldies that I couldn't do with the BNSF branding issue. Cheers Charlie NZ.

All is good now and not sure why your scenario did not work at first time and now no problem. Look forward to see any more scenarios for this route of Canadian Mountain Pass as I am a Canadian.

Hello john - I'm sorry you had trouble loading it!

I did just now double check to be sure, but there is no specific weather pattern selected. Only "3D 2. Cloudy" under the general settings tab in the editor. As to why you're getting the message or why TS is trying to pull in another pattern - I have no idea. To my knowledge I've never used weather patterns from a DLC not directly used. I try to keep the amount used to a minimum.

If you've not done it already, try to clear your cache and restart TS. If that does not work you could try removing then re-subscribing to the scenario.

Hello Jack, Want to doubel check with you about the weather for this scenario. I was surprsied to see that I couldn't get Canadian Coal - Part 2 show up in TRain Simulator to run. Then I decided to check your scenario in RW_Tools and show me that The Weather folder for this scenario is missing. Maybe it is packed in an .ap file? Missing item:-
D:\Program Files \x86)\Steam\steamapps\Comon\Railworks\Assets\Environment\Weather

Do you know which folder is for this scenario? Maybe I can copy/paste from Weather Folder in another scenario that I have.

Look forward to hear from you about this.

Thank you

john, glad you liked it! Thanks for the feed back.

Same 1.08 static mileage report, but as you say came good in the end. In enough time to judge stopping distance, also one of the few 1000 points scenarios I've managed. Thanks for your efforts on our behalf.

Lovely scenario, Thanks! : ) (also had that strange 1.08 mile problem)

Glad you liked it eggysmith! Actually I'd not noticed the bear in party 2. I did see the one in part 1 eventually. Took me a while :) Also the milage thing is because the track is not switched for you yet so it doesn't have a clear run to the destination I believe. There is an AI train moving. When it's done, the track switches back for you. I THINK that's the deal anyway.

eggysmith. Brilliant runs, problem towards the end with the milage counter but still finished OK. I may have been seeing things in both parts but is there a Grizzly Bear on the LH in pt 1 and on the RH in pt 2?. Look forward to part 3 Cheers

@Hank: I actually noticed that 1.08 mile thing too. As the scenario worked fine I didn't investigate it too much but I suspect it has to do with an automatic rail switch not being switched because of AI... maybe?

Anyway, glad you liked it! I think I have the information on changing weather patterns I wanted for Part 3 now. As long as I can implement it properly, it should be coming soon!

Great and unique scenario again Jackkend76 !!!
I had a glitch near the end where my time display was not displaying the distance counter correctly on the last section. It displayed 1.08 miles to go( where it should have started at probably 2-3 miles) it remained at that until I actually had 1.08 miles to the stop area and then began to count down . Clock/ETA and functioned fine. It maybe was something with my PC but worked fine anyways.
Thanks again and eagerly anticipate Part 3.

This is a masterpiece! I think this is my all time favorite scenerio. I loved the ending with the two trains coming around the curve in Golden. You really do great work. Great AI. Realistic consists.

I worked at the plywood mill near the stop point in Golden on special projects as a corporate manager for Louisiana Pacific and before that I worked for Union Pacific from Spokane to Hermison (OR). A bit nostalgic. ;)
