32 year old fresh railfan in an area with no trains sadly to watch for, my town being formerly one of the endpoints of branches for both the old L&N and Southern Railway. L&N abandoned their side of the branch in 1982 I think and then the Southern Railway abandoned their side of the tracks in early 1990's, with that side then served by the Great Smoky Mountains Railorad until last few years.
