thanks for doing the map´s !! it´s a graet pleasure to play this map for me(us in munich& with best greetings from here). in my point of view:there mostly"teething troubels",but basicly you do it very well (& the map is full of planty nice thnigs->ammunition, ect. )!! with best wishes "snoop"... :) !

Madara I had been working on a larger version of the map which includes nearly all of your requests so I have released it onto the workshop. It has much more access and larger zones to provide flanking opportunities and other tactics. I have played this map and here's my feedback. The middle mount VP needs a path leading to the north side of the map, this VP is too hidden. The south of the map needs a bigger path cause tanks can't access it. The east lake needs a bridge too ( I suggest a ground bridge to keep the "far" bridge relevant), it's unbalanced that only one side has access through the middle. The west player has weapons and supplies on the floor that can be picked up -- this is extremely unfair and unbalanced!
In conclusion your map looks really nice, great job but needs the fixes I mentioned.

Thanks for the comments Latch. With regards to glitches, I puta lot of hours in testing the map and even more time watching people play the map too and I thought the map was glitch/bug free. I have not been on for a while so I don't know if there has been a game update or anything that may have caused new glitches. I will check it out though.

With regards to the weapons, I guess not everyone will be a fan of that, but then there are equal amounts of pople who do like the weapons so I guess that one is personal preference,

I love the detail in this map buty after playing it I found it to be really glitchy, troops getting stuck behind walls and rocks, unable to follow orders and (this is a personal gripe) I dont liek the excess amounts of weapons scattered about, great for atmoshphere, not so much for gameplay. Great map none the less though.

get the pop cap mod from the workshop and you can pick whichever pop cap you like

Hi PJ! I was actually observing your game there and it was quite an epic tank battle you guys had when you first crossed the bridge!

I designed it this way so it would be hard to cross and hold the other side, it's part of the fun!

Try the new winter version I have linked in the comment below.... there are several vehicle crossing points !

i had problems getting across the bridge, if you are going to have only 1 vehicle bridge might be a wise move to make it indestuctable

Pop cap is 100. Due to the level of detail any higher pop cap would make it unplayable for those with less powerful PC's

Just found a bug while playing.
My king tiger cant cross the main bridge can you please fix this as soon as possible? Great map by the way

Nicely detailed map, though units seem to get stuck at a few certain points
- the mortar bunker by the northern axis camp entance, overlooking the southern road. units get stuck between that and the fence.
- StG44 and G43s only show up for select units, otherwise the model is invisible.
- the left watchtower on the southern bank, overlooking the main bridge. Units get trapped between the tower and the dirt wall.

I've udated the map to further block some of the areas that AI armour was seeming to penetrate so there should be no more issues with annoying AI tanks showing up in bad spots.

I havent seen any instances of enemy retreating across destroyed bridges yet through all the games i've seen so hopefully that was a one off glitch of some type.

The AI will act a bit dense on easy difficulty as always and even on standard they can be dumb. If you play on hard or above the AI will actively repair the bridges and attempt to attack from more than one of the bridges.

Any suggestions for anything that needs added or taken away?

Let me know if any further issues occur im open to making changes if needed.

The winter version is coming real soon, I have enlarged it to 8 players for the winter version as well so im looking forward to seeing it in action.

I've noticed a few things:
-Troops will sometimes retreat over seemingly destroyed bridges
-AI will send Tanks into chokepoints they can't pass blocking them infinitely onwards
-AI tends to crowd massive amounts of armour and infantry in front of the destroyed central bridge but make no effort to repair it

Those events are rare, but when they occur they are quite enfuriating, I've played this map 6 times now, 2xOKW(3)vs.Ostheer(3), 2xOstheer(3)vsSoviets(3), 2xUS(1)+Soviets(2)vs.OKW(3).
I'll play some more rounds today, maybe take some screenshots and then we'll see ;)

I've been observing as many games as I can to check for bugs and glitches. I also play tested it 37 times on every difficulty before releasing it. Any imperfections ive noticed I've corrected or changed. I have never seen the AI do anything it shouldnt. Can you give more info on what exactly happened in your play through?

I have noticed that sometimes the middle of the rail way bridge seems to glitch and looks invisible so it appears that units are crossing in midair. Is this what you were referring to?

Beautiful map, though i'd strongly recommend not playing this against AI, they dont seem to understand that they can't cross destroyed bridges, chokepoints etc.. But anyway, this looks just amazing, make more of these!!

My first map though I have taken 2 months to slowly build what I feel is a great map.
There are lots of great features and there are supplies and resources to be taken advantage of at various points of the map. I've aimed for a balanced river defence/attack map.

Hope you enjoy the map!
