the start of the game imo is deceptively easy, the two minor armies, while havin 2 very scary beasts can be matched via usin the hero to beat em up, once first battle is done get life magic heal the hero, and rinse and repeat, although im not sure about the rest.

NGL, this looks like a great mod. But the start immediately shows this is only for people who're really good at the game and it's balanced poorly, the "It's meant to be harder than vanilla" warning doesn't cover it, at all.

Your LL uses fire and life magic, literally unhelpful as if you misfire a fire spell you'll screw yourself and life magic doesn't revive. You have harsh unit caps with normal upkeep but 0 money generation. You "gift" settlements to normal factions but get no trade or money from them.

The win cons? I was shocked at how ridiculous they were.

It does come across as unfair to make it such an over-the-top difficulty mod and not make it way more balanced so casual players don't have to feel put off by touching it. I almost get this pit in my stomach I'll just be met with "get gud lmao mr 1000hrs" comments for daring to voice my concerns. This is a mod I want to play but in it's current state I'd rather not sweat my balls off the entire time.

@atlan: I haven't gotten a chance to play with this mod yet so I don't have an opinion just yet. BUT, I will say that submods are a thing. You could make your own that does whatever you want it to.

If these undercities are set up like Skaven or Changeling undercities (very likely), you can't add units to the local garrisons directly. HOWEVER, you can create building effects that give your allies, the city owner, and/or others in the region/province/other range permanent summons, which is almost the same thing (or better if you extend the range :P ).

And, yes, you can also make them so that, if the city above is razed or taken by an enemy, the undercity isn't destroyed.

Another game breaking problem here. You tie the unit caps to necropolises. Which a huge investment considering our resources. But we cannot defend them at all. You have this faction crippled. You have undead that cannot replace losses. You have given them the disadvantages of regular and horde factions with none of the advantages. All it will take is whoever you gave a settlement to starting an unwise war and you are set back dozens of turns. and there is nothing we can do about it. If we have to build necropolises to recruit make them invulnerable. We can be killed like a normal horde. Also the unit caps for skink cohorts & skirmishers should only count those units not both. Right now they count in both caps. This is the first mod I have ever seen count like this. You have 3 skink unit which count as 6 in the caps.
Come on you have a great idea but make it so very few will be able to avoid quitting in frustration.

the heros buff move can allow it to reach around 700 to 800 weapon and overall is a strong lord, once got stuck in a corner by like 3 gor herds, he killed around 200.

the way i beat the elf and demon dude is by using the legend P'jokkador to beat the high out of the elves, and K.HO the demons.

So are we supposed to be the punching bag at the beginning? I can't tell if i am truly bad at the game or the starting enemies are op af. Any words of advice on how to get past them so I can enjoy the mod?

This is both a great concept and way over tuned. Compare this to the Tomb King. They need some income buildings(like the TK) and something that is not capped like the TK. I got ashore but it took 2 turns to get the smaller elf settlement and that gave them time to get a small army. So have to go down to easy battle difficulty or quit.

It seems like using "Necromancy" and this mode together breaks a significant number of animations for the units. They T-pose and float during battles, but seem fine otherwise.

Normally I'd never report cross-mod compatibility issues, but these two mods seem related. I'd love a way to get them both working if possible.

Having said that, very nice work on the mod. I'm very impressed and love all the care put into the roster.

Your mod is pretty good, and the unit models look really cool. However, it's quite disappointing that their stats and mechanics are no different from the original version. They should be more unique and distinct from the original. Looking forward to your improvements!

@shnavooz8 yeah it is like that because it needed to be hotfix so you can have access to the cataclysm spells. When I have more time I will fix it better.

@wasp thanks for the bug report.

@Rusty Shackleford last I checked it worked in IEE, what is the issue?

i am not sure if this is intentional but it sees i can only have 2 spells at a time? i had some other mods but none of them effected spells only the camera and AI vassals.

@jimmymenNL yes it is intended as a different experience you need to be a smart or a coward at the start until you have a full 20 stack and only then can you get a second lord. (you get units by gifting settlements and building beneath)

Does it make sense to use mod when playing another, not even LZ factions to fresh the map? It looks interesting to have such horde LL on the map, but only if he can still recruit units and gift settlements.

Almost all of my troops (skeleton lizards) have no animation; they do not disappear after dying on the battlefield and remain frozen in place.

is it inteded s that you have really limited reruiting and that is it really long before you even can recruit another lord i am already on turn 5 and can not recruit much at all, because when i research recruit capacity in the tech tree it does nothing for to recruit any new lords

Speaking of defeated legendary lords - *don't use it* with this mod - the faction is a horde and any lords you recruit that aren't part of it will die from attrition

Update to lores of magic of the LL so he can have his cataclysm spells (this will in the future be changed so that all 6 spells are in the same wheel but i don't have the time to change it right now.)

The skink building was fixed so you can get kroxigors at tier 2

In IEE doesn't make a random empire general next to your LL when you start the game

@Farmed first fight the elf use the skinks, kroxigor hero, and kroxigor unit to focus the dragons, try to dodge the breath attacks, you can also bravely run away
