Maybe in the future when i have some spare time for it, but it will not be the top of the list to do so.
ReGrowth 2 improves biomes with additional plants and trees, amongst other things. Helixien has stated that they currently lack the time to commit to creating snow-covered versions for all of the added trees.
If you look in the mod folder, you can see there need to be a snow and sand texture, and a Tint white mask, and then just reuse the code in the patch file.

But, yes.
The mod should not be performance heavy, but the more thing that get the snow/sand overlay it all ramps up.
Depends on if it adds new walls and how, and i guess there are still normal rocks that it works on.
