overall I agree, my mods are generally bad and idk why anyone uses them

anyway, like the description says, you make planks with large or very large logs with a rip saw, which replaces the garden saw

@Commy - Which saws aren't working, the rip saw or the tree saw? Did you install mid game or fresh?

@Vermilion - it replaces the "Garden Saw" with the Rip Saw. When the game spawns a garden saw, it will pick either a rip saw or tree saw, and spawn that instead. That's why it's recommended to start with a new game.

@Bass - To make planks, you'll need a Rip Saw and a Large Log or Very Large Log.

@/ - Good question! You'll end up with tiny wood with basic textures. Garden Saws laying around that should be named "Rip Saws" because that's a way better name for a saw. Rip Saws and Tree Saws won't spawn where you've looted until loot re-spawns.

Last, I guess I don't know how the mod would handle tiny wood without a tree species associated with it. I mean, it should work fine. I've been messing with this for so long I can't remember if I tested that or not.

@Gimbo - that's a yes. The issue I had was the log models are too big so I thought about dragging them like dragging a body, especially the very large log. Maybe you move large logs by hand but very large you needs tree tongs or something. It's 100% in the works.

not 100% but I am noticing with madax werapons (and I'm assuming any other modded weapons, it can't find the item properly and so it throws an error every swing, whether it's at a tree or not.

specifically line 13 of jbbw_TreeDamageOverride.lua seems to be where the error is coming from according to my logs

@Gimbo - I know the splitting wedge is f'ed. Is something not in the Known Issues section f'ed up?

@шмайссер - I can patch in the large and very large logs super easy but you'll only get the # of planks set for a normal log. It'd be very nice if they could extend the CanSawLogList table to something like: ['Log'] = { item = 'Base.Plank', qty = SandboxVars.TableSawCreatePlankNum } and adjust the timed action to use the qty value.

Or I'll think about patching their mod. That shouldn't be too difficult.
