Probably not for this mod, I really what to keep these small. But I am doing some work with planetary encounters which I could see something like that fit in.

Any chance you could throw in the old respawn drop pod (maybe damaged with broken survival kit) as a rare drop on planets?
Maybe something similar to https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2802482180&searchtext=damaged+spawn with the old spawn ships, dead engineer in space pod would really sell it.

Thanks Symbiotic. Its funny, I just got the money one myself the other day. Soooooo annoying! If I ever met the guy who made that one, I'd give him a piece of my mind. Glad you are enjoying the mod

omg this is so cute! The sphere that rolls away from you and the money container that punishes you for being late by dropping its cargo to shatter on the ground, I love it! The vanilla unknown signals sometimes have this funny behavior as well that they try to fly away from the player but usually its just the same 3 models with some unimportant crap.

I stopped getting the DLCs when the G-menu became an ad-bomb of "BUY NOW TO USE THIS BLOCK".

Now the game's almost entirely DLC only, and forces you to see it everywhere.

So I was getting the DLC, till they unethically shoved it in everyone's faces with basically force. Not to mention the balance some of the DLC changes kinda makes it slightly pay to win. In the slightest sense. But anyway.

I just prefer to remove the DLC, so that everyone's on fair ground, its not fair some people can use a block while others can't. Every single update is DLC too which made things worse.

A lot of them probably do. I personally get the DLC's as a way to support keens further development of a game that I really enjoy. I treat the DLC's as just part of the base game, especially when building, sometimes it is not obvious whether it is a paid content block/textures or not. I realise not everyone feels the same way about DLC's, so apologies if that lack of detail has caused disappointment.

Do the drops use any DLC stuff? I have a DLC disabler that deletes DLC blocks from the game, so if they use DLC then these would be destroyed on spawn.

Go into C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers folder, open the most recent SE log file in a text editor, search for a key word such as error, see if any mention the unknown signals mod. In the game, you could also hit F11 to bring up the debug draw window, might have some info too.

I dont know what to look for?

Hi FDtO. What error does it give? Can you check the game log?
Firm Donut The Oppressor 15 Oct @ 2:29am
Gives an error log when the game loads

@PlinioJRM - I'm not sure I know what you mean, each signal has its own spawn frequency set in the DropContainers.sbc, are you suggesting changing that through some other means in world? If you wanted some to spawn more often then others, I imagine the easiest way would be to just copy the mod into your own local mod folder and alter the spawn chance to suit you own preference, you could also include the vanilla back in, they are set to 0.0.
PlinioJRM 13 Oct @ 12:42pm
Is it possible to config the spawn chance and frequency through config?
@wellington6012 may you make it possible?

@DAUMELKAEFER As below, more variants to come, food top of the list (since I need it myself on Komorebi). I've already got the coffee and cola, a kitchen one is also built, just haven't added it in yet.

@Dragon Fire 813 - yes, there are more variants to come. Just not enough hours in the day right now.

@black_dragon1230, I do remember that mod, I think I used it once, but if I recall, there weren't many variants or something like that, I never continued with it, trying not to sound negative, I was very appreciative of it at the time. Anyways, my intend is to encourage collecting unknown signals beyond the early game, hopefully this will make people chase them for a little longer.
DAUMELKAEFER 13 Oct @ 12:56am
NOW it need FOOD-drops too

After I finish collecting all the vanilla variations (in all 5 colors for said variations) I will add this. The collection must grow.

I think this is going to be very awesome. There used to be a mod on steam called something like "more variety signals" or something like that. I used it up till it got delisted around 2 years ago. Really glad you made something like this as "normal" drops are very boring!
