@RACTARRO You're not missing a lot to be fair:
Gabbro: Bluish tone, almost as sturdy as granite
Andesite: Gray tone
Basalt: Dark color, slight beauty boost
Peridotite: Dark green color, beautiful, harder to work with
That is litteraly what I written on the images. Imgur being banned in UK will bring a lot of problems with mods description :lunar2019deadpanpig:

@Jaminson A bigger waste of time? Ooh oooh! I've got one.

Writing that comment.

...Because, even if you don't share it, you can tell someone cared about creating this and spent some time doing it, and sharing it in case others cared too. They made something apparently 'pointless' with love and sought to share it. You made something pointless to... tear into that and make someone feel bad?

And fwiw? Yeah, this comment of mine isn't contributing a lot. But what I'm aiming for is that the creator will feel a little love to smooth out any of your bad vibes that got through - making it still less of a waste of time than yours.

I couldn't think of a bigger waste of time. Really as blunt as i am, this is actually so over the top picky it has to be a borderline disorder to care about this. If you were a geologist with stage 3 autism I might cut you some slack, otherwise you must be a serial killer who is finally settling down and using rimworld pawn's unfortunate fated lifestyle to slate your thirst for bloodlust.

- Added compatibility with Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures, Alpha Memes, Vanilla Faction Expanded - Classical, Gerrymon's Nautian Style and Stoneborn - Dwarven Style Pack
- Added a beauty offset of 1 to peridotite, like vanilla marble has. This also means that Essentials: Stone won't throw an error if loaded after this mod.

Indeed, and if this allows me to get rid of Limestone on my alien planet I'll do it again.

"Let's turn stones with distinct looks and distinct features into stones that all look almost the same!"

@zozilin Next update I'll make sure that my mod loads before, thanks for telling me!

Oh, it seems that if you put Essentials after this patch, you get the best of both worlds - stones keep Essentials' balance but look and are named realistically
zozilin 11 Oct @ 3:31pm
Could you add compatibility to Essentials: Stone?
Making the new stones balanced like in that mod

I'm so sorry, you now bear the curse

This... I hate how it makes sense and now my common sense won't leave me alone when I see a marble block in the future...

@Moon Moon I don't think those 2 mods add new floors so they should be natively compatible (I never played with those so I'm might be wrong). The modded walls/weapons/furniture made of stone should already have the new stats and colors.
Only floors need to be patched because they don't get their name and color automatically from the stuff they are made of, and I need to manually do it.

can i sugest making these compatible whit Medieval overhaul 2 and Castle walls? love the peridotite colour, imagine a medieval bug colony in a castle made with those!
Thanks!!

Looking at the workshop page of K extra stone, it adds Basalt, Gabbro and Andesite. Having the two mods shouldn't break anything but you'll have duplicate stones.
Does this overlap with K extra stone?

i love this, but why couldnt this be a much simpler name and description?
