Got it. Thanks

clearly the solution for the thumbnail was to make a video of you opening the door, but upload every frame of that video as a thumbnail and then just tell people to click on the next image really fast

@MiiBot recipes can be added in clientside mods without any issue. the item itself is a vanilla custom item, so it doesn't cause any server incompatibilities

Question. How is it any different from Automatic Doors mod?
MiiBot 5 Oct @ 11:40am
@Beta_36 Woooo! even if it's not dyable, it is a nice piece of clothing! :marijaspeechless:
I do gotta ask, won't it interfer with it the Clientside only part of the mod? :marijaonlooker:

@MiiBot just put out a patch to this mod that makes the hoodie craftable at a spinning wheel. the item itself doesn't require any mods, but this mod now just adds a recipe for it. sadly due to how it was made it doesn't support dyes, so if you want to change it's color you'd have to edit the item data's itself
Beta_36  [author] 4 Oct @ 1:12pm
@MiiBot they're custom clothes that don't require any mods that i got from friends. the only actually custom stuff (excluding dyes and very slight sprite tweaks) are the hoodie and leggings. not really sure who made the leggings, but I can try to see if i can ask the person who made the hoodie to get permission to pass it around.

Not going to lie, the clothes on the picture are fire, are they another mod? a sprite included? or just custom made for the picture? :marijaonlooker:

released band-aid patch. works on vanilla properly now
Beta_36  [author] 3 Oct @ 4:52pm
@FezzedOne working on a fix gimme a minute
FezzedOne 3 Oct @ 12:14am
It's also incompatible with StarExtensions for the same reason.
FezzedOne 3 Oct @ 12:09am
The mcontroller.parameters call you used isn't available in the player's actor movement controller on vanilla Starbound, causing your mod to be incompatible with vanilla.

yeah im not mad at u ive just seen 2 terraria-esque lean mods that wont get released and im just sad
Beta_36  [author] 2 Oct @ 8:35pm
@Duufy idk man, i do this stuff for the fun of it. i just wanna have my own silly little creations in peace. I just figured i'd release this one because i managed to get it to a complete state unlike most of my projects
Duufy 🎖 2 Oct @ 7:36pm
second time ive seen a modder tease some lean hing just to never release
BITney, The Pixel Heister 2 Oct @ 5:30pm
I was gonna ask the same thing as philmcg
Beta_36  [author] 2 Oct @ 5:23pm
@Duufy i'm using a custom tech i made for that. it's meant for personal use, but there are some mods on the workshop that let you rotate freely. one i can think of is Aurora's SB 1.4 Mod, though that one is pretty old at this point. pretty sure RemiTech Mk.II would also allow you to rotate, though i haven't verified that as i've personally never used it
Beta_36  [author] 2 Oct @ 5:18pm
@philmcg i wasn't aware of the other mod when making this, but they should function similarly. though, unlike the other mod, this mod works clientside on servers. idk if most people care about that, but i spend most of my time on unmodded servers
Duufy 🎖 2 Oct @ 12:16pm
how are you leaning in the screenshot
philmcg 2 Oct @ 9:08am
So, how does this differ from the other automatic doors mod?
