Also as for what @dnceleets said, friend basically suggested for the, let's just call it the "content area" or "card" for the city districts to be decreased in height so it would appear more condensed and doesn't leave much empty space when you are using less than the intended amount that can be viewed without scrolling (Say you can view a max of 24 city slots and 2x12 or 4x6 specialization slots). This would help if you are not utilizing much of the space, but it introduces more scrolling needed if you use more than the intended amount :steamhappy:

I just want to let others know that the HALO world from the DarkSpace mod doesn't function properly with the Secondary City Zones submods. You can see the new zones, but you can't click on any of them to start building, past the 2nd one.

I haven't tested it with other worlds from the mod, but any of them works just fine on the Mercurius and Minerva world. Though, it does start to act funky as you add more zones (like only being able to click on the last secondary city zones and build other than the first two) and unlike previously, this doesn't just affect the HALO world. I find 3-4 secondary city zones with 6 slots to be the usable limit, using BPVR Single Row Mode.

So something funky is definitely happening, unfortunately I am unable to further test this at the moment. Anyways this is just me "speed checking".

@sakura Sure! with the vanilla planet view, with only 6 slots, there's no empty space under the building slots. From top down it's Slots, the little blocks indicating space left, then the 3 districts.

while if i use your mod with say only 12 slots, there's a big open space/gap under the city's 12 slots before the 3 districts, and i'd have to use the 24 slot version to fill it.

I only don't want to use the 24 slot version, because it'd be so dramatically unbalanced. I try to keep my experience relatively vanilla because the player is already much stronger than the AI, so i don't want to further widen that gap by using a ton more building slots.

But at the same time, i just hate that gap, the vanilla view is nice and compact, by comparison. A version of the mod designed only for the 12 slots for the main city, and say 3-6 slots on specializations so that everything fits without big open spaces would be perfect. However i understand if that is not something you want to bother with

我加了辅助区域数量的mod,但是点击特化可用只会显示区划详情而不是特化区域,请问这是加载其他mod导致的还是本身的bug?

This mod is compatible with WP's Planet View. BPV Reborn - Zone Single Row Mode and BPV Reborn - Zone Double Row Mode are not compatible with WP's Planet View. WP's Planet View allows you to use the mouse wheel to scroll down and see more building slots for all available areas. I do not know what the maximum viewable building count is for WP's Planet View.

Hello, i want to start off with thanking you for your mod before i sound ungrateful in asking for favors. I really do appreciate it, and if what i ask can't be done i understand.

Me personally, i like the slots and everything being compact, no big plots of empty space, and i don't want to just completely fill it with building slots i'll never use to fix this. I want more building slots, but i don't want like 30 because it's so dramatically unbalanced that way, and i also don't want this wide open space because i only want like 2 rows of building slots.

Is there a way to trim the extra space so it's more in line with vanilla? Or if you can make a variation that closer reflects this? I understand if you do not have the time or desire to do this, but i wanted to ask anyways. Thank you for your time

There's probably no chance for this, as this is just additional work for you, but I wish there was a more miniature version with less space in city district / zones. I like to use 12 for city and 6 for zones, as anything more than that makes planet size not matter at all, but there's a lot of free space left and it kinda bugs me.

@Sakura starting a new game with only BPVR (and UIOD) looks fine - I can select/build specializations in the additional districts..
But: it also appears to work ok when I start a new game with my full mod load.
(only one quick test each - I did not progress those)

so, I built a clean / vanilla start save.
no mods, saved on "day one".
Then I enabled only the following: UIOD, BPVR base, your "Enhanced Urban support", City 18 slots, City 5 zones, Zone 6 slots.

first load: it works ok, I can build specialization on zone 3+4
reload the clean save: it does NOT work for zone 3+4
reload again: it doesn't work for zone 3, but works for zone 4
reload again: it works for both zones 3+4
reload again: it doesn't work

so, it can work - but not always.
I've also noticed on my current main save with dozens of colonies, that on some cities I sometimes do get the option for one zone - but most often, not.

@Vortex-XIII Mostly this is caused by another mod. Could you please try to disable all other mods and open a "clear" game only with BPBR to check if the problem still exists?

I have just installed the mod the first time - and I was also having the problem of the additional city zones not showing. But I was able to get them to show by changing the load order.

Originally I had "BPVR - Zone Single Row Mode" at the end.
Moving it to directly after the base "BPVR - more build slots" fixed it.

So, this seems to work
...
BPVR - more building slots (base)
BPVR - Zone single row mode
BPVR - City x slots
BPVR - City x Zones
BPVR - Zone x slots
BPVR - compatibility
....

to clarify my previous comment, building slot increases work fine both for primary and secondary zone, its just the the number of secondary slots is stuck at 2 / broken. (tested both in single and double row) if it helps.

不过地产模式的槽位不是在星球界面点右下角的地产就能看见吗?
不过是要先点开外国的星球界面,本身是巨企然后建立分部,或者对方是自己的附庸才行
原来的地产建筑槽位mod的逻辑好像包括了直接增加基础开启的地产格数量,也就造成了即使条款里宗主国地产数量是0也能造建筑
而且原mod好像只是不能显示出多于4个的格子,但AI还是可以造超过4个的建筑

@Myszherl @Just a person ? Can you share a screenshot for help? Besides, please try to disable all other mods and see if the problem still exists. Most zone-slot related issues are caused by an incompatiable other mod.

Warning when playing the open beta with this mod:

When you colonize a new world, it'll disappear within a couple days. I did some checking, turned mods on and off on my list and this is the one.

I have encountered a strange bug that appeared my second play through with BPVR and every play through after. In the rural districts I get an extra 4-6 district with 0 slots available to build that all have strange names.
My load order for the bpvr mods at the bottom of the list as follows.
BPVR - More Building Slots
BPV Reborn - Zone Double Row
BPVR - City 3 Zones
BPVR - City 12 Slots
BPVR - Zone 6 Slots
BPVR - Compatibility Patch ( I have Gigastructures)

where should I put the screenshot won't let me past into the text box and I also just realized in the below comment that I meant it was working without this mod. my bad! and the district Is called xvcv_mdlc_pc_merchanical_district_city if that helps. without this mod I still see it in Colonization menu but not on planet like with this mod.

Hi Sakura, I added this mod last night after realizing I was supposed to add it with the double row mod and then the slots mods. But when I add this mod it add a 4th resource section(after generator district) with a weird name. Is that intended? I have the 4 city zones 48 main and zone 12 slots mods installed if that helps. just fyi everything has been working fine for me with this mod but wanted to give you a heads up
