Think there's a tad too many grasshoppers imo, but cool mod
Would be even more interesting if there was a "legendary grasshopper" that acts sorta like a mini boss

@UnderwearApprentice - No, sorry i dont have a design. Dont get me wrong doe, they dont look bad or anything. I just thought maby you can update their looks a little bit, its not a big deal. Oh btw I know weird place to ask but can you share your mod list you used in your twitch stream pls. A workshop collection would be so nice.

@Whyro - The grasshoppers only spawn when winter changes to spring. If the frogs attacked them they would kill them off fairly quickly. If you have a design for them including all sprites for animation please share.

can you make frogs automatically aggro them and kill and eat them i know its not that important but would be a nice small detail and also it would be so nice if you redesign them to make them look a bit more like dst art style

the idea of grasshopers eat the farm is a nice idea. but not only farm: brushes, berries, flowers, trees, anything. will be so fun try killing them before of eat all resources kkkkkkkk

Invader Tee - What can't you get to work? I just tried and they work fine.

I can't get the grasshoppers to work in the crock pot. Can only eat them raw :(

@Augusonic - i really like that idea, but there are so many of them they would overrun you quickly. I'll see if I can add it as a config option.

Will those bugs eat us farm?? That will add some realistic saddly true.

@beatricegatta - Their debug spawn is "grasshopper".

i can't seem to find them anywhere. is there a way to spawn them on console to see if the mod is actually working?

@Rocky - I will look into the crashing issue. The sound volume is randomized, the upper limit may be too high.

Really like the functionality of this mod, but had to turn it off due to how out of place the graphics look. Its very hard to distinguish that these are actually grasshoppers, especially in the buckets. Still, great job on the actual functionality.

As of 12/25, still crashes game client of non-host when they open a container (ice box) with grasshoppers inside. Issue still occurs if non-host disables mod. May I also add, I feel the grasshoppers audio is too loud and obnoxious. I've always thought their sound irl to be plesent.

@Mask The Terrible Grasshoppers actually are eaten normally... you can find them in many places dipped in chocolate, and prepared otherways... all around the US. Other countries, more so. So, I wouldn't exactly say it should really lead to any sanity issues.

Hmm i encounterd a problem with this mod, when my friend opens a crock pot with a grasshopper in it. The Game crashes. I can look into it as a Host, but his game crashed 3 times , but only when he looked into the Crockpot
We both had the mod installed and activated :D

Caramelized grasshopper - 5 health, 18.75 hunger, 5 sanity

know this is survival but this just seems gross! but i also imadgien grasshoppers attackign our farms and eating our crops...

can you add stats of the food and grasshoppers? hunger, sanity, hp etc.
