Thanks @IAmTheRealBeef, sent you a message on Discord :)

@Beef: Thank you for the quick response, and for the information about the Near Light setting.
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 1 Oct @ 1:57am
@BoNes you can see example in the demo video 2nd half, increase the Near Light setting and it should do what you want for emissive lighting.

As for increasing the max values, yes I can do something like this next time I update this.

I think adding a checkbox to unlock them is probably a good way to keep the granularity of sliders while allowing for wild settings as well.

Is it possible to have separate the gain levels for general illumination and emissive illumination (I want to be able to really crank up the emissive without it making everything else brighter)? Also could you please increase the maximum gain levels to 16?

F11 only works in-world. On the main menu it can be configured using the Stationeers Launchpad configuration stuff accessible with the Workshop button and then clicking on the mod there.

If this isn't it, then let me know and/or find me on the Stationeers or Stationeers Modding Discord and I can help troubleshoot a bit more.

For whatever reason, I load the mod and nothing happens when I hit F11. I feel like the mod isn't being enabled (even though others like Modular Consoles are being loaded).

Great mod man!
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 28 Sep @ 10:14pm
@Rotn_ It adds voxel based global illumination - but I'll do a short showcase video soon as well as demonstrating it.
Rotn_ 28 Sep @ 9:00pm
what does this do? I can't understand what this mod's functunality / Features is or what it is supposed to do?
Deus 28 Sep @ 5:14pm
@iamtherealbeef Update it is not this mod causing my issue. I am now getting shadow flicker in Just the Base Game even without Bepinex or LP installed.
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 28 Sep @ 1:07pm
@Deus can you reach out to me on the stationeers regular or modding discord and I can get more info to take a look at?
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 28 Sep @ 1:06pm
@nuclearwinter something seems weird as I have quite good performance. In the meantime also try lightweight mode and turning down the GI gain to compensate worst case.
Deus 28 Sep @ 10:22am
Love the idea and have seen videos with people using this mod. however i am getting massive shadow flickering to the point i cant play. Have this issue even when this is the only mod installed. hoping to find out what might be causing this. (All drivers are up to date as well)
NuclearWinter 28 Sep @ 9:10am
This makes the game look great! But I cant even run it on low with an RTX4070Ti
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 28 Sep @ 1:28am
@leha44581 There must be more to the issue you're facing as I tested with Linux and it works for me

- Kubuntu 25.04
- Installed steam
- Installed Stationeers and forced Proton Experimental
- Dropped BepInEx into folder
- Added WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command% to launch options
- Started Stationeers
- Dropped Stationeers Launchpad into game folder
- Started game, and it functions properly

Holy molly that radiated light from the advance furnace is so nice OMG!
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 27 Sep @ 12:57am
@Vorg, I'm fairly certain the sun in the sky depends on the lens flare being enabled
Vorg 26 Sep @ 11:47pm
Haven't played Stationeers in awhile. Trying out the new stuff. But I also added this plugin and Ambient Light. not sure which or maybe it's something else, But I started the Mars map twice and both times there was no sun. Had the shadows, but no sun in the sky. I do have lens flair off because it is almost always anoying. Might try it again with that on first, but thought I'd check in here also.
Pyro++ 26 Sep @ 9:26pm
This was an insanely easy way to get SEGI running - well done.

I haven't checked out Vulcan yet, which had a weird coloration and too much lava-light at night in the last SEGI mod I tried, but for Mars it works nicely.
Geneticus 26 Sep @ 2:31pm
This is gorgeous looking.
MacMAcMAc 26 Sep @ 1:49pm
heroes. nice work
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 26 Sep @ 12:26pm
@leha44581 On Discord we identified this issue is related to running on Linux - will try to solve something on my end and hopefully address it :)
leha44581 26 Sep @ 10:47am
Doesn't run for me, what exactly does this mean, and how can i fix it?
I have both bepinex and launchpad installed

@PooPooCreed-TTV - It doesn't replace Ambient Light Fix mod, as the goal isn't to make light where there is none, but to just add bounce lighting from sun/screens/buttons/etc

@Reedy941 - Thanks! I'm glad you like it

@Eriduan - You need both. This game has had workshop functionality for many years now but this mod requires BepInEx for being loaded at all. You could bypass the Stationeers Launchpad requirement for this particular mod by manually copying the mod folder from workshop folder to BepInEx folder, but this method I won't offer support.
Eriduan 25 Sep @ 2:42pm
Do we still need the StationeersLaunchPad or BepInEx installed?

Because now the game has the Mod Loader where we can re-order the loading order.
Reedy941 25 Sep @ 1:39pm
Just wanted to say that now i cant play the game..... Because i cant quit looking at how good the lighting is now! Find myself stopping and just saying wow that looks good. Great job on this awesome mod!
PooPooCreed-TTV 25 Sep @ 12:59pm
Dose this replace Ambient Light Fix mod? or dose it add to its function? Just want to make sure im not overlapping mods that do the same thing.
IAmTheRealBeef  [author] 24 Sep @ 5:05pm
You're welcome!
Speed7 24 Sep @ 3:16pm
This is amazing. The previous incarnation of this mod was unplayable for me. Now I can run it on high and get about 60fps or medium at 100fps. It looks great and solves the darkness problems.
