Description
Beef's SEGI Plus
WARNING: This is a StationeersLaunchPad Plugin Mod. It requires BepInEx to be installed with the StationeersLaunchPad plugin.
See: https://github.com/StationeersLaunchPad/StationeersLaunchPad

There is an in-game config menu with F11.

A modified version of SEGI (Sonic Ether Global Illumination) for Stationeers with shader fixes and performance options.

Pairs well with Ambient Light Fix https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/?id=3570726509 (although if you run both you'll likely want to turn down secondary light bounces in mine).

- 4 quality presets (Low/Medium/High/Extreme)
- Lightweight Mode that voxelizes only emissive objects for maximum performance at the cost of more light leakage
> This lightweight mode is independent from the quality preset, so can be enabled/disabled to find the best balance for you
- Automatic day/night ambient lighting that adjusts based on sun position
- Modified SEGI shaders to work properly with Stationeers rendering

Built upon the work of
Sonic Ether (original SEGI): https://github.com/sonicether/SEGI
Erdroy (initial Stationeers port): https://github.com/Erdroy/Stationeers.SEGI
and Vinus (previous implementation): https://github.com/TerameTechYT/StationeersSharp/tree/development/Source/SEGIMod

Configuration available through F11 in-game menu, StationeersLaunchPad config, or BepInEx config files.

@Beef: Thank you for the quick response, and for the information about the Near Light setting.

@BoNes you can see example in the demo video 2nd half, increase the Near Light setting and it should do what you want for emissive lighting.

As for increasing the max values, yes I can do something like this next time I update this.

I think adding a checkbox to unlock them is probably a good way to keep the granularity of sliders while allowing for wild settings as well.

Is it possible to have separate the gain levels for general illumination and emissive illumination (I want to be able to really crank up the emissive without it making everything else brighter)? Also could you please increase the maximum gain levels to 16?

F11 only works in-world. On the main menu it can be configured using the Stationeers Launchpad configuration stuff accessible with the Workshop button and then clicking on the mod there.

If this isn't it, then let me know and/or find me on the Stationeers or Stationeers Modding Discord and I can help troubleshoot a bit more.

For whatever reason, I load the mod and nothing happens when I hit F11. I feel like the mod isn't being enabled (even though others like Modular Consoles are being loaded).
