Giving him more hp and having him do more projectile attacks while maybe giving it a few extra variants would be so good. I kinda realized that a bit later in development and didn't want to rebalance and restructure the whole fight bc of it pretty much. If I ever made another snatcher based boss I'd definitely bring the mechanic back and make it a bit more front and center and balance around it because its really fun.
Can recommend the one from Semi-EX Boss Rush for a neat changeup to the fight! There's also a plethora of non-Snatch fights that are really cool, Death Wish or otherwise.
It has a decent amout of unique attacks that go pretty well once you understand them, it has a good difficulty ramping and the bonus missions aren't too unforgiving.
That said just like every Snatcher remake, I'm not a big fan of how it's always designed to be incredibly difficult/the new "most difficult deathwish". There are some attacks that I just couldn't understand how they worked or how to avoid them, the parry mechanic although interesting, feels a little underwhelming due to not being used as often as I expected. I had a few performance issues, mostly being massive FPS drop.
I can see the time and effort that was put into this but unfortunately this just isn't my cup of tea, that's what I get for not taking a warning seriously.
I don’t expect many to beat this fight, but I believe anyone can! One of our testers managed to with NO prior modded snatcher fight experience (insanely impressive btw!) And if you wanna beat it with whatever insane OP mods you have, just to experience or balance the whole fight to your liking, that’s great, too!
There was so much love put into this mod, and I’m so happy to have helped experience it all coming to fruition! Godspeed to all you gamers.
